Women should be able to do what best suits their body when it comes to abortion because not everyone is ready to support a baby, Women should have a say in what is best for their body, and medical issues with the mother may not be safe for the baby and the mother.

Not everyone is ready to support a baby. Firstly, a study shows that more women who are turned away from abortion become homeless. “A University of California at San Francisco study found that women who were turned away from abortion clinics (because they had passed the gestational limit imposed by the clinic) were three times more likely to be below the poverty level two years later than women who were able to obtain abortions.” ( Abortion- Top 15 arguments for and against) This piece of evidence demonstrates my argument because a woman might be losing their home and poor while trying to support the financial needs associated with raising the child. Also, there are a lot of young mothers were their only options are either to abort the baby or get kicked out, that situation could also lead up to more homeless people out on the streets when no one wants or can help them. Saying ΅No΅ to abortions could lead up to worse problems in society.

Women should have a say in what is best for their bodies. Next, having an unsafe abortion because no one was willing to do it could lead to worse problems in the world. “Unsafe abortions are defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as “a procedure for terminating an unintended pregnancy carried out either by persons lacking the necessary skills or in an environment that does not conform to minimal medical standards or both.” ( Key Facts on Abortion) This piece of evidence proves my argument because if a person gets pregnant and is not in a good spot with their body, abortion may be a tool that could help someone get in a better position with their body. Getting an abortion that is unsafe for the mother could lead to possible health issues. All could be avoided when there are people allowed and have the correct qualifications to make sure termination of the pregnancy is safe. We should let women have the option of what is best for them and their life.

Medical issues with the mother may not be safe for the baby or the mother. Lastly, Abortion could save two lives. “ You may also be offered a termination if you have any pregnancy complications that pose a significant threat to your life or your baby’s if you continue the pregnancy” (Terminating a Pregnancy for Medical Reasons (TFMR)) This piece of evidence supports my last point because having certain medical issues with the mother like HIV or AIDS where the immune system becomes weaker and anything that could affect the mother could hurt the baby as well. Not being able to avoid this kind of situation is not reasonable for the people's lives that are truly affected by the effects. A woman´s life could be saved because of abortion.

Women should be able to do what best suits their body when it comes to abortion because not everyone is ready to support a baby, Women should have a say in what is best for their body, and medical issues with the mother may not be safe for the baby and the mother. A woman that is pregnant should be able to do what is right for their body in their situation. Men who make these abortion laws should not have a say in a woman´s body. No one should be judging anyone who does end up getting an abortion either. I understand that people are killing innocent children but women should get the choice of how they approach their bodies. Why should abortion be illegal if people´s lives could be saved by it?
