While there are concerns about security breaches, the benefits of the web, especially in the educational and communication fields, should not be discredited.

Today, more than ever, it is easier to get our hands on relevant and reliable information that is of interest to us. Teachers and students are the most benefited ones, because with a single click it is possible to access, create and share information and educational resources. In fact, nowadays it is possible to find free or low-cost courses online about various themes or specific skills. For instance, webpages like EdX, Coursera and Khan Academy offer free courses to anyone.

In addition, the evolution of communication services has made it easier for distance communication, either with family members living in another state or people living in other countries. Services like Telegram, WhatsApp, Gmail, among others have provided a new form of free, efficient and fast communication regardless of distance or language. We can even implement it in our professional or personal environment. For example, during the pandemic, many companies and family members were forced to communicate through the screen and although it was difficult at the beginning, many quickly adapted to this new form of communication and taking advantage of their functions.

All in all, it is undeniable that the advantages of the Internet outweigh its disadvantages.
