Joe Biden's inauguration took place on January 20, 2021, officially making him the 46th president. President Biden has passed many policies/programs since then. The covid-19 pandemic affected many families in the U.S and to help them out, President Biden proposed an American Rescue Plan. President Biden also passed an Infrastructure Investment and Job Act for many roads and major projects.

President Biden's $1.9 trillion American Rescue plan was made to combat the negative effects the pandemic had on the economy. The plan included more than $400 billion that was spent immediately to tackle the epidemic, including money to speed vaccination deployment and reopen most schools safely within 100 days. Additional funding of $350 billion would aid state and local governments in bridging budget gaps, with $1,400 direct payments to people, more generous unemployment benefits, federally mandated paid leave for workers, and hefty subsidies for childcare costs also included in the plan. Biden did a respectable job with this plan in terms of helping the economy and aiding Americans financially. The Biden administration did a good job distributing and managing the Covid-19 vaccines to Americans. The American Rescue Plan increased Biden's overall approval rating by 5 points and even had some Republicans acknowledging this plan.

The second policy evaluated is the $1.2 trillion law, the Infrastructure Investment, and Job Act. Since the construction of the interstate highway system in the 1950s, this act has invested more in building and repairing bridges. It also features the "largest investments in transit and clean electricity transmission in US history," according to officials. In addition, billions of dollars will be spent to replace lead pipes and expand high-speed Internet access. Under the law's funding, all the country's lead pipes and service lines will be replaced. Hazardous chemicals in drinking water would also be addressed. $351 billion will be for the Federal Highway Administration, depending on the objectives of local politicians and planners. This money will be for long-overdue repairs or road-widening and miles of new roadways. This Biden program was a good and helpful act. This program helped create many jobs for Americans and ensured their safety. Repairing roads ensures road safety. Health issues would be prevented by replacing the lead pipes. Therefore, President Biden did a decent job creating this program.

In conclusion, though President Biden has a low approval rate and his popularity is going down, I believe he does have some presentable policies and programs. The President with the Biden administration is doing a decent job.
