You might have been thinking your whole life or came across an argument or discussion about if a hotdog is a sandwich. I know that my opinion doesn’t matter, but I think it isn’t. Yet similar to that topic we are going to argue or discuss whether a burrito should be known as a sandwich or just a burrito. My arugment would be that a burrito does not count as a sandwhich.

To justify my argument to the court I would say that we should compare a burrito to a sandwhich to compare and contrast. In order to compare and contrast them I will probably write the simlarities down. Then I will write the difference down. It will act sort of like a T-chart. Whichever there is more of, then whether it was the differences or similarities wins the argument. Like I said before, we will make a T-chart.

When I say chart I mean lets list the differenc\es on one side and the similarities on the other. Since this doesnt really make sense, an explanation to it would be that the T-chart has more differences than they are different. Yet, if they have more similarities than they are similar to each other. This sounds silly yet makes sense. It makes sense because instead of using our opinions we will be using facts through differences and similarities.

Another way to reason my argument would be that a burrito is wrapped. Yet a sandwich is made of two pieces of bread on the bottom and top of whatever is in the sandwich.  They may be similar because they have to be made with some sort of meat, cheese, and possibly condiments. Yet they are also completely different because one uses a tortilla and the other uses bread. Which are completely different things.

In Conclusion, the sources I would turn to in order to gather my evidence are probably books on how to make a burrito. how to make a sandwhich, and my knowledge. “One round tortilla, two scoops of rice, and a load of other tasty ingredients add up to one delicious burrito!” (Vega, Denise Build a Burrito: A Counting Book in English and Spanish, Scholastic, 2008) This shows that burritos use one tortilla and not two pieces of bread. I think people will believe this because it is from a book then it could be true if it sounds true. Again I know this may seem a little silly but if you think about it, if we can gather enough information about the both we can make a good detailed evidence and reasoning to win the argument and trial. Yet as the judge  I would go on the side saying that they aren't the same and then state my reasoning. Yet as a loyal judge I will still listen to others opinions on it and see if they can persuad me to change my mind.
