Expanding the use of Artificial Intelligence should happen, but there should be limitations in place to protect the safety of both humans and our planet. Believe it or not, some people think that AI. (Artificial Intelligence), is harmless. People code all AI, computers, robots, etc. But now AI has been able to create its code. This is where people forget that Technology is getting more and more advanced. Yes, we can write code But so can A.I. That is a concern. In the case of an emergency, it is a good idea to limit their abilities.

Computers are very important and they are helpful in so many ways. This is why people should want to give them some limitations so they are helpful in every way that they can be. This is a concern for some people, they don't like the fact that computers potentially have their abilities limited, But people need to remember this quote “By far, the greatest danger of Artificial Intelligence is that people conclude too early that they understand it.” —Eliezer Yudkowsky this is a great quote because it is true nobody understands A.I. That is why we need to make some adjustments to the AI to keep people safe.

Some people might argue that A.I. saves countless lives. That is a fact according to deloitte.com “Wearable AI applications could have the largest impact, saving up to 313,000 lives. Studies also show that AI can significantly decrease the number of false positives and negatives during mammography screening. It has been demonstrated that AI software was able to interpret mammogram results up to 30 times faster than doctors, with a 99% accuracy. . . .  These AI applications have the potential to save up to 16,000 lives and €7.4 billion annually.”

That is great but people still don't fully understand A.I. If people are going to continue to make A.I. then people need to get this message across that A.I. can save lives many lives but anything that can save lives can also kill lives. According to the study from YaleNews, “each new robot per 1,000 workers led to about eight additional deaths per 100,000 males aged 45 to 54 and nearly four additional deaths per 100,000 females in the same age group.” Yes, maybe it was an accident but this can not happen if we are going to continue with A.I. we can not have any accidents. We trust machines with our lives, we code them too and this still happens. So we need to put limitations in place to protect the safety of both humans and our planet.
