Money pays bills and supports families. In fact, many people depend on entertaining and working to earn money. People can earn money from the lottery and jobs. In addition, entertainers sell merchandise, do brand deals, and tour to earn money. Athletes and entertainers should earn large sums of money because they entertain people, they have goals they want to achieve, and because they take daily risks.
First of all, athletes and entertainers should earn large sums of money because they entertain people. For example, Sam is an entertainer who writes songs. Many of his fans have written emails about how his music has brought them out of dark places. In fact, one of Sam's fans, Lisa, was a young school girl who has battled depression for many years. She said in an email that Sam's music is so entertaining she felt she could talk to people. In addition, in the email Lisa stated that Sam's music made her feel safe and happy like she could express herself; it made her talk to more people and bring her out of a deep depression. Obviously, athletes and entertainers can help in many ways even with mental health and should get paid large sums of money.
Second of all, athletes and entertainers should earn large sums of money because they have goals they want to achieve. For instance, Tom Brady is a football player who pushes himself to be the best. In fact, with his hard work and dedication he has won six Super Bowls. In addition, he wants to lead his team to the Super Bowl each and every year. Clearly, athletes work very hard everyday for the achievements they want to make and they should get paid for it.
Thirdly, athletes and entertainers should earn large sums of money because they take daily risks. For example, Tiger Woods, a professional golfer suffered a stress fracture and a ruptured ACL in his knee. However, he was able sink a twelve foot birdie and power through an eighteen hole play off against Rocco Meditate. Fortunately, Tiger conquered and took home his third U.S Open title. Without a doubt, athletes take risks often, so they should earn large sums of money to pay for their injuries.
In conclusion, athletes and entertainers should earn large sums of money. Firstly, entertainers should earn large sums of money because they entertain and help people like Sam helped Lisa get out of her depression. Secondly, athletes should earn large sums of money because they have goals they want to achieve like Tom Brady leading his team to victory at six Super Bowl's. Thirdly, athletes should earn large sums of money because they take risks like Tiger Woods did while being injured playing golf. Undoubtedly, entertainers could not pay for music systems and athletes could not pay medical bills for injuries they endure if we don't pay them.
