Business Proposal Essay: Eco Cafe

I am writing this letter to you as I feel very passionate about the town and would love to assist you on how we could enhance and improve it. My proposal for you is that the town invests in an “Eco Café”. I am aware that we have various cafés throughout Magherafelt, but I feel that an eco-café would attract more people to the town (especially gregarious people). Thus the town would make more profit from promotions on the media, and from marketing etc. I will hazard a guess that you are pondering over the idea of what the eco café would entail. Which is why I will delve into more depth in the following paragraph to come. It will be distinct compared to other cafés. Furthermore, because of this its originality and uniqueness will draw more customers in. The café would be a heaven which inhabits earth.  I would like you to imagine this feeling, strolling into an elegant, exquisite, ethereal café to socialise with friends while drinking for instance, a coffee that is the atmosphere and energy the café would have. I feel that this would be a comforting relaxing spot to visit do you concur? Now, I will go into more detail on why I personally think this idea would benefit the town environment and economy.

I feel that I am unequivocal that this concept would be essential beneficial and have a positive impact in the local economy quite simply because if we manufacture an eco-café due to the sustainability, it lowers the cafés cost of running the business by thirty percent isn’t that an astounding statistic! Not only would it be helping the environment, but it cost less expense. Additionally it will impend a sense of elation onto customers as they know that they’re doing their small part of saving the planet while eating there which could potentially lead to them making posts on social medias about it which would draw more customers in. Some knowledge that I have obtained is something that in my belief not enough people are aware of is that used coffee beans emit methane which has a greenhouse effect 28 times greater than carbon dioxide. And to think that carbon dioxide is already a significant tribute to greenhouse gases is astonishing. There is roughly 3000 tonnes of spent coffee beans produced each year with over ninety percent going to a landsite. Isn’t that shameful and ignorant of us? How our café would be accountable with this problem is that all the used coffee grounds we have will be donated to local gardening centres which then will be made into a natural fertilizer instead of slowly killing the earth in a landsite. Another reason why the economy of Magherafelt should invest in the eco café is because in the UK alone we use 2.5 billion plastic cups a year and the number is set to increase which is all a factor in killing the earth, isn’t this vindictive and cruel of us to drink out of a plastic cup knowing the impact and consequences, knowing what plastic consequently does to sea life and how it damages and mutilates them. With that being said that is the reason the café will be using as a replacement “PLA plastic cups”. These are biodegradable non-toxic and high quality. These actions will earn our town Magherafelt magnificent publicity, and more and more people will become intrigued boosting the economy and bringing more tourists into the town. As for the menu in the eco café we will be promoting healthy eating unlike if you were to add a fast food restaurant chain which if added to the town may tarnish Magherafelt’s reputation of promotion of health and fitness dining. The food at the eco café would be renowned for its delectable taste and fine cuisine while also maintaining a healthy meal. The café will have a salad bar with a variety of fruits and vegetables to choose from. However, I do understand and even empathise that not everyone enjoys salads (especially children) which is why there will be items such as chicken and chips only cooked in a healthier way than most but still taste just as appetizing as a fast food chain only without the excess fat. Lastly of course what is an eco-café without greenery? The flowers and plants will lift people’s emotions (fact sixty percent of people feel happier around plants which could potentially boost reviews) making them feel satisfied and content which will lead them to promote the café due to the fresh air from the plants and the soothing environment.

I implore you to consider this proposal; I am imperative that it will be outstanding and have successful results. Making it a reality with all the positive outcomes for the environment and economy how could one not make this the newest phenomenon for Magherafelt? It is vital that we as a town should increase our help on the climate crisis by creating this café which is strikingly more sustainable than other previous cafes throughout the town. This proposal will be a wonderful, welcomed addition to the town if you, the council wish it to be so. It is simply a win-win situation. Moreover amazing for the environment in regard to its sustainability and as for Magherafelt it would receive more tourists and profit due to the eco café. So please I do hope you will take my eco café idea into great consideration, this could be just the start of an extravagant environmental turning point for Magherafelt all you have to do is say yes.
