Christianity and Islam are both some of the most popular religions but have many differences and similarities. One of them is the form of each religion’s god. Another difference and similarity are the beliefs. The last similarity or difference is what their origins were.

One difference between the two religion’s gods is that in Christianity, their god has split into 3 parts. Those parts are the father, the son, and the holy spirit. For example, the text states “This is the idea that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one.” This quote shows one of the differences that Christianity has. One similarity between them is that both religion only has a single god. For example, text A states “Allah is the one and only god.”

Another difference are the religion’s beliefs. One reason is because in Christianity, people believe that Jesus was the son of god. For example, the text states “The central tenet of Christianity is the belief in Jesus as the Son of God and the Messiah (Christ)” This quote shows how Christians believe that Jesus is the son of god while in Islam Allah (their god) has no children. For example, text c states “God has no offspring, no race, no gender, no body, and is unaffected by the characteristics of human life.” Another similarity between these religions is that both religions believe that god created everything. For example, Text C states “Muslims believe that God is the creator of all things, and that God is all-powerful and all-knowing” This quote shows how Muslims believe that God is the creator of everything.

One difference is that Islam’s founder Muhammed was meditating and in he thought he was called by God to create a new religion. For example, text D states “He came to believe that he was called on by God to be a prophet and teacher of a new faith, Islam, which means literally "submission."” While with Christianity, Jesus taught others how to live a life focusing on God. He also stated himself as the son of God and was placed on the earth to die to save mankind.

In conclusion, these are the differences and similarities on both religions. While Christianity and Islam have a single god, they are put in different forms. Also Christianity’s beliefs are both alike and different from Islam. Both of these religions also had different origins. This means that even though they are different religions, they have many similarities.
