Coco is a film about the day of the dead in Mexico, a moving film that tells you everything, life and death, dreams and family, choice and resignation ... In my opinion, in this film, no matter the cultural elements and the plot, or the characters, music and scenes, these are excellent and that‘s why I love this movie.

The story happened on the Day of the Dead, people light the way from death to live with marigold’s petals. People in Mexico sing and dance to greet the return of the soul and celebrate the moment of reunion. One point that this festival wants to express is "we are always family."

The scenes come from life, the living’s world is the city of Oaxaca and the dead’s comes from the city of Guanajuato, giving a feeling of a mixture of magic and reality. What’s worth mentioning that is the use of color, I can't help but regret the recognition and bold use of color, such as the scene and the monster Alebrije.

Our protagonist, Miguel, a teenager loves music. Faced with opposition from the family, he hid his guitar secretly, carefully compiled the musical albums, said words like "I've had enough to ask for consent, I don’t want to follow the rules, I want to follow my heart. " Just like us, for one thing we loved, we can try our best.

Money and position are often capable of allowing men to take control of life, but what is easy to ignore is the accompanying greed. De la Cruz is one example. To be successful, he murdered his friend Hector and stole his music. Therefore, the most important thing in the course of life is to resist temptation and keep inner purity.

Between dreams and family, no one can choose without hesitation. At first, Hector chose his career and gave up his family. During the period of missing his wife and daughter, Hector finally understood that family is more important than dreams. And after Hector met his wife and found himself unforgiven, the family by side said: "you can’t be forgiven, but it should not be forgotten. " which make me moved.

What moved me the most was that at the end of the film, to prevent Hector from dying in  another world, Miguel sang the song that Hector had written for her, " remember me", which sounds great. It tells us that coco used to be so small that when she looked up, we were reminded of all the good things in the world.

You can find answers to many questions in coco. "The real death is that no one in the world remembers you", that's what I know from coco. Fortunately, death is nothing terrible, because you will always be remembered until the memory of love disappears.
