Cover Letter on Digital Marketing Specialist Position

Dear Hiring Team, 

I am writing this letter to express my interest in your Digital Marketing Specialist position posted on Indeed. I would also like to elaborate on why I am the best fit for this role. First, and foremost, I found your company’s mission to be very riveting and inspiring. Enabling and accelerating the digital transformation for all organizations is something I stand by and would eagerly take part in. I believe that as the world evolves, humans should as well. One can never truly reach their full potential in a state of complacency. This is why I choose to continuously challenge myself by learning new skills and improving my professional knowledge. 

I earned my Bachelor of Science from Salisbury University, where I studied Information Systems and French. I specialized in web design and development, and in my last semester, I completed a web development internship. In this internship, I was a self-starter and created my deliverables with the supervision and approval of my client. This experience allowed me to gain the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while still being held accountable for all the duties within my role. 

Currently, I am a graduate student at West Virginia University, where I am studying Digital Marketing Communications, with a focus on web metrics and content production. I am also working as a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator for PEER Consultants, P.C. In this role I do a variety of tasks including but not limited to managing the social media accounts, building connections via social media and email, and analyzing the best strategies to increase online engagement. Since my inclusion to the PEER team, I have successfully increased our overall social presence by 50%, specifically on LinkedIn. This includes increased page views, unique visitors, and custom button clicks. 

Aside from my professional and educational experience, my hobbies and interests are also relevant to this role. Since the age of twelve, I have had an interest in video production. I have taken several video production courses and with this, I have created my own YouTube channel where I create, edit, produce and share beauty, fashion, and comedy videos.
