Descriptive Essay: “Cafe Terrace’’ by Vincent Van Gogh

 In the painting “Cafe Terrace’’ by Vincent Van Gogh  is a cafe at night full of stars that are shining like glooming light.Also there are people that are sitting in the table of the cafe in addition some people are  serving things to the people that are sitting on the chair of the table.For Instance i see building with blue,violet colors mixed together the cafe looks like the color of the sun mixed with gold  which makes a bright,bright yellow.There is a big green tree in the side of the painting that is covering one-third of the building.The building gets darker as you go down the road the darkness is the mix of a little blue and black which creates a dark deep blue.Not just that there are tiny little windows that are filled with light.I also see a lamp with fire inside of it in the Cafe Terrace.Forinstance On the terrace, there are little figures of people drinking. There are lights everywhere in the painting which make it look like a bright painting.

However to me this painting means There is always room for positive if the room is filled with negative,this painting reminds me of this quote ”Think positively you will never lose because positivity always wins’’ Say this because this painting to me means positivity.The more i look at this painting the more i think about positive things,this painting looks like peace.

My opinion on this painting “Cafe Terrace’’  by Vincent Van Gogh is that it is well painted, And color of the painting is really smooth.It looks really realistic, and in my own personal opinion this represents positivity,and peace because all the people are relaxing in the cafe terrace.There are people drinking beverages and relaxing in chairs.This painting is all about peace and harmony.
