Pandemic affects everyone and changed the way we live. Most of our economy were stopped and slowed down including our education system. This led to the decision of the Department of Education (DepEd) the implementation of distance learning to still pursue the will of education must never stop with its battle cry "Sulong Edukalidad". Education is the facilitation of the acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values in which teachers educate not just with the various lessons found in books, but also with the different teachings encountered in real life. In other words, learning is essential and must continue because it prepares students to confront life's numerous obstacles.

Distance learning is a style of learning in which the teachers and students are physically separated during class. As a result, it is desirable to use remote learning methods this school year to ensure the safety of both students and teachers. It is performed in two ways: modular and blended learning. Everyone was ought to adjust and be flexible amidst pandemics. Students have the free will to choose their modalities. Modular consist of modules that are distributed weekly. This type of modality is suitable for students who are unfortunate with technology devices. Aside from it being budget and technology-friendly, it is also flexible for students who have other personal responsibilities such as working with their house chores or jobs because you don't need to attend your online classes hence, you have the freedom to finish your modules or activities at any time, anywhere, and at your speed. However, this gives you a lack or less interaction with your teachers and other students. It will make it hard to ask your teachers immediately personally. This kind of system is more preferred for students who are good at self-discipline and can independently study or else this will make it hard for those who are not and can be found unmotivating since it doesn't develop social interactions and communication.

While Blended Learning is a system where students are required to attend online classes and also submit their modules every week along with modular students. This gives them an advantage for more quality learning since they will be interacting with their teachers and classmates online. It makes your learning more fun and have the access to ask any queries to your teachers easily. In contrast, this kind of system is most desirable for those students who have their own technology devices such as laptops or desktops and mobile phones along with a stable internet connection. Unfortunately, not everyone have the accessibility to these since pandemic makes our economy suffer. Studying with this kind of phase, you must be good at your time management since it is necessary for you to attend online daily classes after it you will also answer your modules and activities afterwards.

In conclusion, we should know what is the most suitable modality for us especially if we are having a hard time financially. After all, both of them are effective learning systems, nevertheless, it depend on us as a student on how we will handle our tasks and responsibilities. Teachers became more understanding and considerate for students since every one of us is still adjusting to this kind of system. It is hard to study in this kind of system but with the means of perseverance, effective time management, and discipline we will get through this just like how we get through the school year 2020-2021.
