Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol Essay Sample

Do you ever wonder what being a good person means? Some people may know how to be a good person, but others it may not come easy.

What dickens what us to understand about other people's business of being a human. We should be kind and compassionate to others and that’s what he tries to show us in his book the Christmas carol with the main character Scrooge.

Scrooge’s definition of other people’s business at the beginning of the story was gains and work. That's all he cared about; he thought if you were poor and had no job, you should be in jail. There were two men who came and asked could he give to the poor, and he said“ Are there no prisons?” which shows he does not know how to be kind to other people.

There were three ghosts who had come to see Scrooge to show him how to be a better person in life so after his experiences we all three ghost he had become a better person and now his perspective on other people business is that we should be kind, and we should give to people who don't have, and we should be kind to others around us. When Scrooge sees his grave he tells the ghost “No, spirit Oh no no! The finger still there Spirit, I'm not the man I once was”.

So kindness is the best way to go about life because there is always someone who is watching you.No matter if you believe it or not.
