Education goals I have for 2021

I cannot believe so much time has passed. 2020 has been hectic and very different. I had many ups and downs, but I am still here and want to make sure that every day of 2021 is an opportunity to grow and change the way I see myself. This year, I will be more focused on my goals. One of my main goals for this year is to walk out in 2021 as a better person. I know that is not going to be simple, and it is going to take some work. Looking back to 2020, I can't say that I have had lots of time to reflect on who I am as a person and do something about it. That is why I am making it my mission in 2021 to make sure I do that.

One of my three main goals is to do better academically. There are many ways to do that. One way is by getting my homework done and by the due date. I can do that by making sure I do not lose track of time. A big part of that is by using skills like time management, planning, and prioritization. I am struggling with time management. Like others, I spend most of my time on social media if I am not in school, and by the time I finish with hourly binges on YouTube, my four-clock homework is already due. Habits like this are hard to break, but I think once I have a good plan and focus on getting rid of distractions, I can stick to it.

As I mentioned in previous paragraphs, I feel like 2020 just was not my year regarding personal growth, but I feel like 2021 can be. I feel like out of all my goals I have listed this is the most important to me because it is going to help me grow as a person and as a child of God. When I think about what I want to change, what comes to mind is that I want to change how I react to certain things in situations that happen. I am usually a very emotional person and I take lot of things personally. I understand that is not the best way to view life. One thing 2020 made me realize is that sometimes bad stuff happens and all you can control is the way you react to life.
