Greek art and architecture are connected to Greece because they display what Greece is like. One reason is because Greek art can show that Greece worships the gods. For example, the text states "Even though much of Greek art was meant to honor the gods, those very gods were created in the image of humans." This quote explains that most Greek arts were meant to worship the gods, some of which were created in the shape of humans. Also, Greek has buildings known as temples that resemble a modern church.

Another reason is because the acropolis shows that Greece is civilized. For example, in the image, the acropolis has many houses which means that it has a big population. This means that Greece was able to become successful in being a large civilization. Another example is that you can see different sized houses and walls surrounding temples at the top. This makes me think that there are social classes just looking at the picture of the acropolis.

American art and architecture and Greek art and architecture are both different and similar. One Difference between Greek architecture and American architecture is that they are different shapes. For example, most American houses have roofs shaped like a triangle but for the houses in the acropolis, they just had a cube as a house. Another difference is that the statues for Greek and America have different meanings. For example, the statue "Diana of Versailles" was meant to worship the god of hunt meanwhile the David statue was created for who knows what (I have no idea yet).
