Essay About Mom

My mom is the person I look up to and cherish the most. She has been by my side from day one. She is my best friend. Most everyone has someone in their lives that they look up to or admire. The person I idolize is my mom because she is kind, loving, and strong.

First of all, my mom has been there for me since before I can even remember. She immediately gathered up all the necessities. A crib, clothes, diapers, bottles, wipes, and more. She immediately made a place for me in her heart. She knew she would love and cherish me. She is definitely my number one fan and my best friend. When I am sad, mad, angry, confused, you name it, I go to her. She supports me through thick and thin. She still loves me when I am mad at her or I have done something that I should not have. My mom understands me more than anyone else will.

Secondly, my mom has been through a lot in her life. She did not grow up with a lot of money. They did not get to eat all of the time. They did not really get to snack often and they moved a lot as well. This means that they moved schools a bunch. In turn my mom had to make new friends a lot more often than a normal kid would. They lived out on our ranch for a short period of time. When they were living there they had no access to electricity. That means no phones, tv’s, basically anything electric. Instead they used oil lamps, candles, and just did not care about cell phones. When she was little she really had to use her imagination. She would make up games and play them with her sisters. When they were little they were all assigned a little girl to take care of. These would be one of their sisters that were younger than them. My mom did not always live with all of her siblings though. Even though my mom has been through a lot, she made the best of it. 

Last, but not least, my mom truly inspires me to be just like her. She is so sweet, and amazing. She is literally the definition of what I want to be when I am older. Some kids say that they want to be a firefighter or a police officer. Well, I really want to be my mom. I want to be the kind of person that is like my mom. She has a warm heart, a heart that needs to help. She helps people when they most need it. She is one of the most selfless people I know. She is always worried about the needs of others. She is so loving and lovable. She takes me anywhere I want to go. When I am older I hope that I am like that to my kids as well. 

In conclusion my mom is my number one inspiration. She is the person I most want to be in life. She has been here for everything and will be here for the rest. She will never leave or give up. Those are the exact reasons why my mom is my number one inspiration.
