A May statistic showed that 70% of uneducated Republicans believed this senseless conspiracy theory. They are stereotypically older men and older woman. These people must have also been uninformed that Bill Gates created Microsoft NOT a microchip! Not only this, but there have also been protesters who have used their time to not get the vaccine but to make shirts, posters and yell out things such as “Our body, our choice”, “SAY NO to Bill Gates microchip!”, “This is affecting our health more!”. Sure, protesting and not social distancing is going to help fight COVID. Bill Gates even replied saying how these theories are “deeply ironic” given his work to promote global health and reduce global deaths and poverty. This theory then escalated and had gotten so bad that the Rhode Island Department of Health had to tell everyone, “despite what you may have heard, Covid-19 vaccines will not change your personality, make you grow a third eye, or alter your DNA. They are microchip-free. Similarly, don’t expect to hear sounds of the Windows operating system booting up after you get the Covid-19 vaccine. Chances are you’ll wake up to the same old sounds that you are used to, such as an alarm clock and your pillow singing, “stay with me,”.

To be clear: there are no microchips in any vaccine. There’s no evidence that even one of the nearly 358 million Americans or the 4.76 billion people who have received a shot so far has been implanted with a tiny piece of tracking hardware device. Of course, this isn’t enough proof for antivaxxers to not believe this made-up theory. Not only this Anti vaxxers and vaccine theories have gotten so out of control that the World Health Organization now ranks vaccine hesitancy as one of the top 10 threats to global health. Vaccination is one of the most cost-effective ways of avoiding disease – it currently prevents 2-3 million deaths a year, and a further 1.5 million could be avoided if global coverage of vaccinations improved.  Wouldn’t you want to get vaccinated if it meant it would save 1.5 million people? Or would you like to believe a non proven, no evidence, made up theory and not get the vaccine, potentially killing yourself and 1.5 million others who you have influenced?

Last month Bill gates daughters also went to get the COVID vaccine and said “Sadly, it did NOT implant my genius father into my brain.” As you can imagine antivaxxers were blind to this and think it’s a hoax! Not only this, but Bill Gates was also asked on CBS News if these theories were true, he replied saying “No. There’s no connection between any of these vaccines and any tracking type thing at all. I don’t know where that came from.”

So, research, have proper proof before you produce stupid, brainless theories that you have NO proof other then a statement that was NOTHING to do with tracking!

The COVID vaccine doesn’t kill, Antivaxxers do. Get the vaccine, save lives.
