Essay Example on The Rise and Fall and Rise Again of Apple

Do you have any Apple products? Maybe you have a Macbook, an Iphone, Airpods, or an Ipad. You might wonder how this $200 trillion company and 5th biggest company in the world had success or failures during their time in the computer business? In this essay I will be telling you about Apple's breakthroughs and almost going bankrupt.  

It all started on April 1st 1976. Computers were very huge and very slow. Steve Job and Steve Wozniak started the company and created a 60 chip motherboard. For back then, that was mind blowing. Their company really started when they first created the first Macintosh. It was revolutionary, it could fit right on your desk in your office and could run way faster than most computers. People today still love its keyboard. In the 90s they created their first computer with a colored screen. In 1991, Apple created their first ever laptop called the Powerbook 100. It was a smash hit. Steve Jobs left to do other intriguing things.

After Steve Jobs left Apple, the popularity dropped way down.  They weren't doing well at all after Steve left. They were 90 days away from being bankrupt, but Bill Gates Invested about 130 million dollars into the business. Steve heard that they were going broke so he decided to come back as the ceo. They released a big hit called the Ibook Clamshell and the Imac G3, and the Ipod. This brought Apple back in business.

In 2007, Apple created the first ever touchscreen phone without a keypad. They called this masterpiece of technology, the Iphone. It was such a huge success that %24 of smartphone users have an Iphone. In 2011, Steve Jobs passed away and Tim Cook took his place as the ceo. Because of Steve Jobs, Apple would not be here today.

Today, Apple has been successful even without Steve Jobs. Every year everybody can’t wait to get their new phone, watch, computer, or headphones. They have made history for the whole world. This was the history of Apple inc.
