Essay Sample about Animal Rights

Animals in the world now have some rights and some people believe that it is a good idea and others believe it’s not. Having both sides to the story there are many positives and negatives with both having and not having animal rights. The three forms of animal rights that I'm going to talk about is, domestic pets, cattle/ farm animals, and test subject animals. These three forms of animal rights are the most common that we talk about or hear about.

First up, domestic animal rights, the first quote that I found is from “ProQuest SIRS issues Researcher~ Yelp for Help. We Can Do Without This PAW Patrol.” And the quote I found was “Human’s certainly have a moral and legal duty to protect them from needless cruelty and abuse.” This qoute is very important to understand, and makes one feel that we as humans should have and want to help the animals that are in trouble and aren’t in the best homes, and sometimes we are the ones that are doing that to them, and some people believe that the animals should have more rights than that and others feel that this is okay. The next piece of information that I found about these animals was from “ProQuest SIRS Issues Researcher~ Dogs Don’t Get Their Day in Court.” and the quote I found was “If dog were abused or neglected the state could step into procect her.'' Some people may think that when the animal owners are going to be split up, the animals are just taken away, but if they find that the animal is in danger and is not taken care of they are taken and to find a new home. It is very good to know that they have some rights when it comes to abuse. 

How are animal rights affecting our farm animls? The qoute from “ProQuest SIRS Issues Researcher ~ Animals Don’t Need Rigths Just Humans to Be Responsible.” And the quote I found was  “We steal a cow’s baby even though her cries of anguish are unmistakeable, and when we take her milk that in intended for her calf, and put it in our coffee and cereal.”we can clearly see that the author is saying that for many people taking the milk and the baby isn’t every bad but too the cow this is a very bad thing to do. The second quote was from the same article and was a quote from “Temple Grandin''and she says “The least we can do is terrize them in their last final minutes.'' Reading this makes one feel that when we kill an animal for food we do it in the most scary and frightening way posible, and when we are going to sacrifice these animals for food, she believes that we should do something different when it comes to killing the animlas.

The third animlas im going to talk about is test subject animals. And the first piece of evidence that i found was from the article “ProQuest SIRS Issues Researcher ~ Humans, It Is Time to Promote the Equality of Consideration” and the quote that I found was, “Bacteria can be lethal and from previous experiments it cause half of the mice to die within 20 days ” We can clearly tell from this qoute that the point the aouthor was trying to show us is that the testing of animals can be very dangerous and can hurt or kill most of them. The secound qoute that I found was from the same article and it says, “Project entailed injecting mice with the bacteria cryptococcus to observe how the mice reacted and how it affected their body.” and reading this makes one feel that we are doing some very horrible things to these animals and some people feel that these animals should have more rights when it comes to testing.

By learning and understanding more about these animals, you will have a better understanding on what side you are on and what you think is the best point of view when it comes to animal rights. Thinking back to the main things that I said and how they affect domestic, farm and test subject animals, and the things that some of them and they way us humans do for them and how it affects them. And how some of the things thats we do really help them and how we stand up for them and protect them and keep them safe.
