Dense smoke filled the skies painting a blood curling scenery as Poseidon staggered to his feet, slowly regaining consciousness. Fireballs continue to skim past his head, screaming and roaring like jet engines. “AHH AHHH save us my king!” desperate soldiers cried, stuck in the midst of enemy fire. Poseidon had to get to them and set up a water barrier as a shield. Poseidon jumps into the air, aiming for his men, time had felt like it came to a halt, heart thumping so hard, it was going to leap out of his chest any second.

Hephaestus felt threatened by Poseidon's lust to obtain a stronger military. Hephaestus believed that Poseidon was going to invade after expanding their army. Hephaestus was the god of fire; he had many friends and allies due to his affableness and friendly disposition. Poseidon on the other hand, was hated by everyone. His hunger for expanding his army, even though he had the best, made everyone despise him. Poseidon, the god of water, depended on Bee and Dee for ideas. He would always ask, “Who should we invade.” “We should take over Hephaestus’s army” Bee suggested. “We can’t be this greedy.” Dee disagreed. “Greed makes a man blind and foolish, making him an easy prey for death.” He continued. Hephaestus understood Poseidon’s greediness and suspected that Poseidon might invade. So, he sent a spy over to Poseidon’s base.

Poseidon had planned an invasion on Hephaestus’s base. Poseidon told his men, “Yall have an hour to get ready, were going on a mission.” After hearing this, the spy immediately informed Hephaestus of what was going on. Poseidon overheard the spy and struck him in the face with an axe. The last words to Hephaestus were “They are coming to your base! They are co----!” Hephaestus was infuriated. He was determined to kill Poseidon. Three hours later, an alarm went off. And Hephaestus knew exactly who was heading for them.

After arriving, Poseidon and his men saw a huge empire reinforced with steel and iron. The place looked like a max level security prison. But this was no prison, it was a military base filled with strong soldiers that could spit out fire. But like anything else, this prison had a weak spot, the right side. Poseidon’s army lined up and charged into their base but were instantly greeted by heavy fire and bombs. Since Hephaestus had previously been alerted before Poseidon even stepped foot onto their base, they were all lined up, ready to defend their base. It seemed like they were in a strategic formation with shields and swords in the front and fire power in the back.

Despite vastly outnumbering Hephaestus's army, Poseidon’s army was overwhelmed. They didn’t expect this. In fact, their only plan was to take out Hephaestus and declare the empire as their own. Dread now diffusing throughout Poseidon’s mind, he thought “Why didn’t I listen! Why didn’t I listen to Dee!” He wanted to escape but the sounds of the screams of agony forced him to stay. “Flee now and you will be saved. Stay and you’ll be a pig at the slaughterhouse just like all of us.” Dee urged. Poseidon didn’t listen. He wanted to get his people out of the mess he made but it was just too late. Poseidon turned around and saw a flaming fireball coming towards him at what seemed like Mach forty. The next thing Dee saw was Poseidon flying across the battlefield unconscious.

Heavy smoke poured onto Poseidon as he awakened. Faint but anguishing cries for help can be heard from a nearby trench. Poseidon had to make a choice. Save his people or save himself. He quickly leaps into the air, towards the stuck soldiers but gets shot in the head. Now the fire quickly consumed their whole army since Poseidon is the only one who can control water in substantial amounts. Hephaestus celebrated their victory by burning all of what's left of Poseidon’s army. They sang their victory songs and danced till dawn.

But then Hephaestus caught a glimpse of a figure in the corner of his eye. In the burning pile arises Poseidon. Hephaestus tried to catch Poseidon, but he escaped. Butterflies dance in Hephaestus’s stomach, as he anticipates that something bad might happen. Just as all hope was lost, a figure emerged from the front gate. This figure had a gigantic scar on his face and appeared to be holding something. It was Hephaestus’s spy! Apparently, taking a 30-pound axe to the face wasn't enough to kill him. And in the hands of the spy was the head of the greedy pig, Poseidon.
