Throughout Malcolm X’s life, he has taken upon himself to make numerous messages on racial injustice, But when Malcolm delivered his message to his audience that white people need to work and educate their own communities, and black people can work in their community  would be the only way for these two races to thrive together, is when he offered his most compelling message.

Despite the fact that Malcolm had spoken upon the history of the black race and the white race and the history of slavery, his message was flawed because Malcolm argued, that the first man was black. He states, “Original Man was black, in the continent called Africa where the human race had emerged on the planet Earth” (X and Haley). Malcolm X believed that the original race was the black race, he also believed  the black race the best and the good race, He is very one sided when making this claim. He continued on with his argument to say, “The devil white man," down through history, out of his devilish nature, had pillaged, murdered, raped, and exploited every race of man not white” (X and Haley). Malcolm X made his opinions on the white race, calling and degrading the white race with the word “devil”. Malcolm based his message on his own views on race, he used logic and what he believed to be true facts in order to advocate for his message without any real knowledge on the white race. Malcolms message was flawed because Malcolm’s message was created from frictional facts and was a biased message.

Malcolm X did offer a more compelling message when he talks about integration and why he believed that the black race and white race can never be integrated, and the only way for the black society to thrive is by creating their own society, but his claim was still flawed because Malcolm was again talking from history, that in this case had been rewritten to align with his perspective on race. Malcolm discusses the causes and effects of racial integration that had been seen through generations to try to say that “The white man’s “integrating” with black women has already changed the complexion and characteristics of the black race in America” (X and Haley). Malcolm shows that if the black society and the white society were to ever come together the black race is basically in danger because the black race starts losing not only their skin tone, but many other factors about the black race. He shows the audience that this does not benefit the black community only the white because these new generations of intermarrage want to live according to the ways of the white society. Malcolm X continues on to propose a solution, the black race should remain separate from the white race so “... black people, wherever possible, however possible, patronize their own kind, hire their own kind, and start in those ways to build up the black race's ability to do for itself”(X and Haley).  Malcolm believed that the black race is better on its own and that the only way for the black race to be respected in America is from building their own empires. Even though Malcolm’s message was more convincing it was still flawed because Malcolm is so blinded by his own views that he doesn't see that segregation is not the ideal way for society to continue on, Malcolm doesn't realize that his view on segregation doesn't help anyone.

Malcolm does continue on, to deliver his most compelling message when he says there are sincere white people and there are racist white people but if the sincere white people are able to educate the racist white people and change their mindset, then the black race and white race can be unified.  While Malcolm visits Hajj, Malcolm has his eyes opened, he admits to learning, not all white people are racists: “I am speaking against and my fight is against the white racists. I firmly believe that Negroes have the right to fight against these racists, by any means that are necessary” (X and Haley). With his new perspective Malcolm now acknowledges that the white race is not filled completely with “devils”, Malcolm now realizes that calling all white people horrible was very naive of him because before he did not take upon himself to educate himself on the white race. Malcolm now realized that both races have the responsibility to help correct “America's human problem. The well-meaning white people, I said, had to combat, actively and directly, the racism in other white people. And the black people had to build within themselves much greater awareness that along with equal rights there had to be the bearing of equal responsibilities” (X and Haley). Malcolm had opened himself up to understanding that a segregated America is not the America anyone should live in. Malcolm discusses that all races should acknowledge each other's struggles in order for everyone to come together. Malcolm is now speaking from an open mind, he is no longer one-sided with his perspective on race.

Malcolm’s message on the importance of education on and between races is the only way for America's racial injustice problem to be fixed is his most compelling message that he delivered to the world throughout his life because Malcolm approached his message with a powerful claim that is supported with a clear and effective reasoning.
