Essay Sample about New Car

Cars are so important; we use them everyday and rely on them to get us where we need to go. Some people decide to buy cars that are brand new, while others have cars that have been previously owned. While used cars may save some money initially, they will eventually break down and become worn far quicker than a new car ever would. A new car would benefit me greatly by providing a better way to get around, getting me excited to go for a drive, and meeting my needs. 

Firstly, if I owned a new car, I would have a better way to get around. It would be much more reliable, never having to worry about it randomly breaking down or suddenly becoming too old to work anymore. Less money would need to be spent on repairs. I could drive to school each morning, knowing that the car would get me there safely without any problems arising. It would look nice inside and out with no scratch marks, rust, or chipped paint. It would also have better gas mileage. 

Secondly, driving a new car would be so enjoyable. I just recently obtained my license, and I would love to have a car that is my own and that I can choose, not one that is passed down after multiple family members have driven it. It would be a great financial lesson for me as I come up with the money to pay for it. It teaches me how to earn and save up money while also persistently working towards my goals. Once I finally buy it and take ownership of it, I would feel so accomplished and proud of my hard work. 

Lastly, the new car would meet my needs and be put to good use. A car is something that is used constantly and for many years. I would use it to get anywhere I needed to, including school, a friend’s house, dance, a job, and any other places necessary. I would make sure to take great care of it, keeping it clean and good looking. I would also be cautious on the roads, doing my best to never cause any damage to it. 

In conclusion, old cars are not always reliable, and I would benefit significantly from owning a new one. It would last a long time and would be very important to me, taking me places almost every day. I would be very responsible with it, raising the money needed and keeping it nice for as long as I have it. If I were to get a new car, it would not be regretted and would be one of the best purchases I’ll ever make.
