The education levels in American schools, such as reading, math, and test scores, need to be improved. Other schools, such as Finnish, are faring much better and receiving doing more offers than American schools. Schools in the United States do not provide adequate assistance to their students, which is necessary if they are to improve. What are some of the things that American schools provide for their students? Partanen, Kozol, and Badger are three authors who discuss the differences between American and other schools.

Schools in the United States are failing to provide good opportunities for their students. In certain American schools, students are required to pay for their meals and other school-related items. Partanen discusses how a Finnish school should be structured. Anu Paranen claims in her article "Finland's School Success" that "In the Finnish approach, as Sahlberg characterizes it, schools should be healthy, safe environments for children." This begins with the fundamentals. Finland provides free school lunches to all students, as well as easy access to healthcare, psychiatric counseling, and tailored student coaching." This means that if you provide a safe environment and a healthy environment for students to come to school  they will not have to worry about anything because they will be in a safe environment. Although American schools have a few good options, they do not take them seriously or use them effectively enough to benefit their students. American schools have rules and offers, but they do not use their time to apply them to their students. If they do, it will be quite beneficial to them because the offer they have may be just what the students need. Schools in the United States need to pay more attention to the things that are missing for their students.

There are many different types of colleges in the United States, including good lovely campuses and really awful campuses. Some campuses in the United States are either messed up or completely broken. It depends on where you live because if you live in a really great neighborhood, it's a safe place to go to school, but if you live in a really horrible neighborhood, going to school would be extremely difficult. It would be difficult for them to attend school because it is not safe for them to do so. According to Jonathan Kozol's essay "Fremont High School," the campus "sprawls across a city block, between San Pedro Street and Avalon Boulevard in South Central Los Angeles," as reported by the Los Angeles Times. The school's windows are "shielded from gunfire by thick screens," and its perimeter is fortified by an eight-foot steel fence topped with spikes. Kozol is expressing how the school appears when it is located in a terrible neighborhood. Fermont High School is so awful that rats have been discovered in a drawer and bins. Kozol also discusses how, in comparison to other schools, that section of Los Angeles does not receive a good education. It is difficult for students to learn in a poor neighborhood, and they may begin to do bad things because the things they see around them are teaching them something. Fermont High School is described as "very bad" by Kozol because of problems that aren't fixed and the type of things they provide for their kids, such as a shortage of resources. Students may find it difficult to learn at school if they have lack of  supplies. To provide their students with an excellent education, they must provide extra support and appropriate supplies.

Students are different from one another. Some students desire to learn, while others do not. Some students consider education to be extremely important because they wish to learn something new. Students who are homeless still want to learn, but it can be difficult for them. Eleanor J. Bader's article "Homeless on Campus" discusses how homeless students want to go to school and how they struggle to live while being homeless. "Homeless advocates cite many incidents of students sleeping in their cars and slipping into a school gym to shower and change clothes," according to the article. They talk about students who couch surf or camp in the woods over the summer, cycling or walking to class. Despite the anecdotes, information about homeless college students is hazy." Bader is attempting to show that homeless students desire to learn, but that finding a shelter for themselves is extremely difficult. They would try to locate a location where they could shower and sleep. School isn't for everyone, but for those who want to take their education seriously, it might be a struggle due to a lack of supplies or a lack of support. “Kirkwood's method is a "patchwork system," Gesing observes, and homeless students frequently drop out or fail classes because no one is aware of their plight,” Bader adds. "People fade away when they don't know who to turn to for help," she says. ” Bader argues this because some people require support from others in order to continue their studies.Having someone to support you makes you feel as if they are encouraging you to keep going and cheering you up even when you failed. Homeless children attempt to attend school in order to receive help, however some schools do not provide such help and support. "Schools could do more to help the homeless who have kids," Aesha says in the text. "College does have daycare, but they only allow one to two children." She feels that homeless students should be provided with housing." To be able to attend school, everyone wants a good offer.

In conclusion, American schools should provide more educational resources so that students can learn more and have more opportunity in school. Partanen, Kozol, and Bader are the three authors who explain why American schools are falling behind and what they should do to help their students.Providing excellent supplies can help students learn a lot better than not having any, because they won't be able to study as well if they don't have any. Schools in the United States should pay greater attention to their students and the issues that need to be addressed in order to assist their school improve.
