In 1910, Hitler lived in a homeless shelter that was in Vienna, Austrian. In addition to being homeless, there was a side of him that few people know about- his childhood. In order to further understand Hitler's childhood, one must know about his family, his interests, and his prejudices.

It is important to understand Hitlers family. Hitler's mother, Klara Hitler, was very protective over him. Hitler's bond with his mother was extremely strong. Klara died in 1907nfrom breast cancer and left Hitler dreadful. Another fact about Hitler’s family is that his father was strict and expected a lot out of him. Hitler one stated, “I never loved my father, but feared him.” This explains how Alois Hitler, Adolf Hitler’s father, used to be extremely strict and expected his kids to respect him. Lastly. Hilter was not that close with any of his siblings because only one made it past their childhood. Hitler was the fourth out of six kids. He was like a father figure to his sister, Paula, because she was his only full sister. After Hitler went through his mother dying, getting abused by his father, and losing all his siblings, he still turned up to be one of the evilest people in the world.

It is also important to understand all of Hitler’s interests. Hitler once believed that he would be a famous artist. Unfortunately, Hitler got rejected by the city’s Academy of Fine Arts twice. After getting rejected, Hitler slowly gave up on art. Another one of Hitler’s interests includes dogs. Hitler had two German Shepards named Blondi and Bella. He loved German Shepards because they are very obedient which would be good for concentration camps. Finally, Hitler strongly enjoyed music. When he was twelve, he first listened to the operas of Richard Wagner. When he listened to his music, he said it felt like all the violence left his body. Overall, Hitler's interests and activities were a big part of his childhood.

One last fact that is important to know about Hitler is why he hated the Jews. Hitler is known for starting the hatred of the Jews in Germany, but his father was the one who started it. Even though he did not start the hatred, he made the problem worse by treating the Jews poorly. Next, Hitler strongly believed that the Jews were the lowest form of humans in his hierarchy of races. Hitler also believed that Poles, Russians, and Gypsies were lower raced. Even though Hitler did not like them, Jews had a history of living in Germany since 500 AD. Lastly, Hitler hated the Jews because he was ashamed of his own Jewish heritage. Hitler had a Jewish grandfather but not a Jewish grandmother. Hitler also hated the Jew’s noses. All this information shows why Hitler strongly disliked the Jews.

Most people see Hitlers monstrous side, yet if people learn about his childhood, they will see another side. Understanding Hitler’s family, interests, and prejudices help people know more about his childhood. It is important to know about Hitler's childhood so that people can see all the activities that he did leading up to all his horrible plans.
