Bullying is a subcategory of aggressive behavior that happens when someone hurts or scares another person on purpose, so it makes it harder to defend themselves. Bullying can affect the individuals' physical health, mental health, and social life.

Firstly, bullying can be a violent behavior since it can impact the individuals’ physical health. For instance, “Physical bullying is the use of physical actions to intimidate and gain control over a target. The physical actions are unwanted by the victim and can either cause damage to their body or possessions. Physical bullying is a behavior that can be a risk factor on the victim since it can cause a lot of damage to the body that can be on your body for a lifetime like hitting, punching, kicking, which can make a lot of injuries on the body. Especially in the school environment, physical bullying can be very common since some kids think that touching is fine on other people while giving negativity towards them. Therefore, bullying is an aggressive behavior that can lead to physical actions and their health.

Secondly, bullying is known to be an aggressive behavior since it can affect mental health. It mentions that, “Educators have noted that both the perpetrators and victims of bullying can suffer negative long-term consequences. Victims of childhood bullying tend to have higher mood disorder rates in adulthood, with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem occurring more frequently (Bullying in Schools)”. Mental health is one of the most important aspects of the human body since it can have positive or negative thoughts, so bullying can impact the individual mental health negatively, which can affect them for a lifetime and can be very hard to fix with all the hurtful negativity put into pressure on the individual brain. Therefore, bullying can be very aggressive towards mental health.

Lastly, bullying can be a threatening behavior since it can influence individuals’ social life. For instance, “Bullied young people also tend to have lower self-esteem, higher rates of school absenteeism, and diminished academic performance. They tend to become socially isolated, which can have far-reaching impacts on future relationships (Health Impact of Bullying.)”. Social media has been showcasing a lot of online hate, threats, inappropriate words, which makes the person feel attacked and insecure, leading to not having the strength of being socially active and being separated from everyone. Therefore, bullying can cause threatening behavior by influencing the individuals’ social life by negativity.

In conclusion, bullying is part of the subcategory of causing aggressive behavior on purpose to an individuals’ life by impacting their physical health, mental health, and social life.
