Before the uprise of the first World War, Europe and Britain had stood as a first-world power, withholding facets of industrial control. Industrial dominion meant for better use of machinery and technological utilities prior to World War I. During the early 1900s, many Europeans aspired to trade with other civilizations forming alliances preceding the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. The primary causes of the upbringing of World War I ensued to be a variety of aspects revolving around alliances, imperialism, and militancy, but more rather due to the assassination of the archduke of Austria as this took a toll on Europe, humanity itself.

A further analogy to the reasons for the First World War briefly involved the demise of Austrian archduke Franz Ferdinand, later on growing to be an ample issue among the European people and other alliances.  Following Ferdinand's death in 1914, this opted for an oppressive society among the European people. Blaming Serbia for its unalleged attacks on its government, Austria defended its name regarding the assassination causing other alliances to dispute the large matter. These aspects left no consensus but rather influenced further conflict leading to rising tensions amongst the west. (Doc B.) Disagreement and unbalanced societies driven by western culture meant for further rising pressures by European alliances that would later lead to a full-fledged war.

Militarism and other apparent causes of WWI, such as early modern industrialization, made for a conflicting environment to transpire at the upbringing of war. The condemning of the Serbian government regarding the death of Franz Ferdinand encouraged a militaristic environment in much of Europe, and other distinctive alliances contributed to the factor as they bought utilities commonly for naval and military intents. As there was a loss of serenity, the alliances split asunder as they prepared for the onset of the possible war. Weapons of mass destruction were utilized and brought out prior to the war in hopes of intimidating other alliances rather than provoking them. (Doc C.) Militarism would go on to provoke an upscale war by aiding in the purchasing of various armaments and weaponry that would later be utilized by European alliances. Spending on these commodities culminated in more disputes and conflicts among members of society, leading to the point where world war I broke out.

Imperialism and rule over other domains with no formal constraint played a crucial role in the leading cause of WWI. As other European unions competed against raw materials and land, tensions ran high commonly in West Africa as to whether a nation had the right to possess the land. (Doc E.) Not only did the British rule for an extensive time under various African cultures but rather made for an averse pact bringing no value to the society of other individuals but moreover for the Brits themself. Due to ineffective funding by the British government, this factor later led other alliances to go against the British generalization of "Imperialism." (Doc F.) The increased competition and desire for dominance led to an upsurge of confrontation led by other alliances that drove society to the first World War. With no imperialistic power in place, much of the British Empire would lack control over more lavish grounds, and alliances would be more balanced prior to the war.
