Education continues to grow in popularity as a fundamental investment in American society; however the student loan has continues to grow as a burden for college students. Regardless of the race student loan debt has accumulated to $1.2 trillion of America dedt.Which continues to grow each year. Each year student loan debt made up 13% of America debt accumulated from young adults. Student loan was intended to open doors to economic prosperity for those who need it to go to college. However are student loans the one thing that is hindering student from receiving prosperity?

 As a group we decided to resource the impact of student debt on the racial wealth gap. The reason for this topic is that we wanted to learn how loan debt is affecting student based on their racial background. How is student loan debt hindering you based on your ethnic background. 

Many of the problematic student loan debt are held by individuals who graduation. On the hand recent graduate still may have an issue getting a job after graduating. This means they can’t fulfill their agreement to pay their loan back. This reality default statistics, making the racial grow wider. Students may not be aware of the repayment options, and therefore the existing benefits. There their lack of knowledge can be increasing their overall debt. or being taken advantage of by loan servicers. Therefore we would like to know how student loan debt is affecting student’s mentality, emotionally, and economically. By getting more information regarding this topic, we can address future issue for upcoming students. 

Despite the benefits derived from applied statistics, there are some challenges that wealth gap face in measuring social issues. In public sector, statistical approach is used to carry out the measurement. Statistics is needed to accurate conclusions to draw the accurate results based on the sample of data.  Thought out our research we will be using different methods to comprehend our thesis. One methods would be measurement.Measurment is the process of assigning number to the issue that a policy makers face in measuring social issues. Next we are going to find the attitude by the opinion of our target population .We will also use polls and survey’s to determine the results based on our research question. We will be using empirical research for our hypothsis.We is not sure of the conclusion of our research question. Dependent variable will be use to determine the effects on how student debt may be affecting them. Thus we will be using different methods to determine our results. Our goal in this research is to see how student from different ethnic background is affected from school debt. Our target is students that are currently in an Unversity.The target will include males, and females. Lastly we are open to any group within this research. Therefore our results will be more conclusive. We are confident that we will get the data we need to receive the results for our thesis.
