He’s crossed every line, broken every boundary, and now it's retribution time. The outcome of the war between Putin and Ukraine, decides if there is going to be a larger problem. We have to play our cards right, by not staying out of it, but sending medical aid, economic aid, and exposing Putin's “special operation” as what it really is.

Considering the situation with Ukraine, the worst decision the world could've/could make moving forward is doing nothing. The world doing nothing, is ironically going to do something that will become everyone's problem. If all of the countries don’t do anymore, then they are doing now, Vladimir Putin can easily keep attacking these small hopeless countries, like Ukraine, and eventually hit a Nato country. Tucker Carlsen, a commentator from Fox News, could say, “Well, it’s not our problem, leave it to Europe?”, but what happens when Putin attacks a NATO country and your country could have prevented WW3?

Ukraine has a fairly good army, but without all of the supplies that are being sent from Nato countries and more, like medical aid, economic aid, clothes, food, weapons, who knows what would have happened to Ukraine. Would Putin want more land if he saw how little people cared for Ukraine? This could be a repeat of history, in the sense of Hitler. Hitler easily took over Rhineland, and nobody seemed to care, so what was to stop him from taking more. Putin is seeming like a resemblance to this, and if Ukraine is taken over, who is to stop Putin from wanting or taking more?

Another terrible decision would be sending countries around Russia's border to fight, doing this would probably cause even more of a problem. They are already scared enough and if they go to war against the biggest country in the world, (some might even say the biggest superpower), and sending them in without any aid from the world, could start a third World War. None of them want to be a part of Russia, they chose to be independent countries after the fall of the USSR, they would want to keep it that way.

Countries around the world are putting up sanctions, stopping trade with Russia, shutting down websites, etc, but this is hurting citizens that don’t need to be hurt. This could also be a bad decision. Russia overall is a poor country, the government doesn’t give money to the people, or health care, but instead uses it on the military. The price of the ruble has lowered making poor people even poorer, even though they didn’t do anything to harm anyone. The world needs to find a way to damage Putin without bringing his innocent citizens beside him. Like Switzerland, a good solution would be to place sanctions on Putin’s bank account, no longer giving him access to money. Doing this doesn’t hurt the citizens, but hurts Putin.

As of now, the best decision I think the world can make is not to send soldiers, but money, equipment, clothes, etc, to Ukraine. It shouldn’t be for other countries to send their own 18 year old children into war, but it should be their responsibility to put a stop to this war by sending things that can help Ukraine without hurting those countries too. Along with this, we can also restrict Russia to things it might need to keep fighting, as in money. For example Switzerland placed sanctions on some Russian bank accounts, which can be just as helpful as sending troops. The EU, UK and US have banned products that are sent to Russia that could be used by the Russian military. Something that could be the most important, is that Poland is accepting refugees and giving them food. All of these actions that the world is taking are alternatives into giving military aid to Ukraine, and possibly starting WW3.

Another good decision would be to try to get the real news out to Russian citizens, about what's actually happening between the neighboring countries. The world has to try to tell the Russian citizens that It’s Putin's fault, and get rid of the propaganda. They need to know that this is not just a special operation. For example, a good thing that has been done, is that Netflix is not showing the Russians lying news, and not broadcasting what the government wants them to broadcast. Two bad things that have been done are Apple not allowing Apple Pay in Russia and Nike shutting down their site in russia. These things are only creating problems for Russians that don’t even agree or side with Putin. The people shouldn’t be punished for Putin’s mistakes

To conclude, the world shouldn’t stay out, because it will always end up as their problem. Instead, the world can use effective solutions that will benefit Ukraine, and not hurt the Russian people. Now it's retribution time.
