Death is the tragic way of life , though  Shakespear  saw that death  can   happen in many ways. The story of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet is a tragedy based upon two families who have a fued. Two lovers, Romeo and Juliet, are each belonging to one of the families who meet a party. Shakespear treats death in the story of Romeo and Juliet as tragic, spiteful, and revengeful.

Initially when Mercutio dies he is killed out of spite , followed by Juliets' cousin Tybalt Capulet who was killed out of Romeo's love and care for Mercutio . Tybalt is known for being a troublemaker or starting fights .  Romeo wanted to spare Tybalt's life though Tybalt wanted Romeo dead so he tried to make it happen, although the end result was Tybalt being stabbed and killed by Romeo. “ im fonder of you than you can possibly imagine , till you know the reason why so, good Capulet a name i valve as dearly as my own, be satisfied with that.’’ - Romeo Romeo and Juliet get married just before that, making Romeo’s quote true. Later on in the story both Romeo and Juliet end up dying, Shakespeare expresses this by a huge misunderstanding that ends up taking two lives.

To follow the death of Mercutio, Tybalt dies by challenging Romeo to a duel. Romeo does not want to kill or even hurt Tybalt because he is now married to Juliet and Tybalt is her cousin. Romeo tried to reason with Tybalt time and time again although Tybalt is a troublemaker who cannot stop the fighting. Shakespear used Tybalt and Mercutio to display how he portrays death. When Merutio dies he dies saving a life. Mercutio was a hero to Romeo. Though Tybalt died a poor human who desired death upon the Montagues. Although Mercutio and Tybalt’s deaths were through violence though the rest may not.

To start off the rest of the deaths Romeo Montague dies after seeing Juliet “dead”, she drank a potion to make her appear dead,  so he had drank a real death liquid and so he died because he could not live with the death of his perfect wife Juliet. After Juliet woke up from the potion to make her seem dead. She saw Romeo's body dead and decided she could not live without her perfect husband either. Stabbing herself with Romeo's sword ending her life for good. After the two lovers had died, Lady Montague, the mother of Romeo died due to the shock of her pretious Romeo dying and so all that was left of the Montagues was four.

In conclusion, Shakespear treats death in Romeo and Juliet as tragic, misleading, and spiteful. The deaths in Romeo and Juliet are most related to the feud because without the feud many lives could have been saved as well as causing the families to willingly let Romeo and Juliet marry. My final thoughts throughout the play and Shakespeare's opinion are that it is a great story for that time period, and that Shakespear had many different opinions on death and how life and fate can vary.
