Vaccines should be mandatory since this is more than just a personal opinion; this determines life or death. Getting vaccinated is an act of being selfless: this is not the time to be selfish, not unless someone has a medical condition. Most students would be eligible to get vaccinated. Even if there is a health issue stopping students, there are many alternatives. There is an online school, home school by parents, or private tutors. Even if the parents of the minor can not afford anything, they can ask a teacher or a retired teacher if they are willing to teach them in their free time. Vaccines only work if you as an individual take responsibility and get vaccinated: this would help vulnerable people like elders, newborns, and people who have medical conditions: according to the video clip about vaccines. Overall the vaccine prevents less likely deaths. According to A Deadly Political Divide article. The vaccine is not guaranteed sufficient protection from the virus, CDC claimed, but it is better than being hospitalized or ill and prevents death. Have you ever thought of others parents or people who went homeless, hungry? Many have lost jobs, find it hard to find a new one because of the pandemic resulting (possibly) in losing their home, according to THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON HOMELESSNESS IN THE UNITED STATES by United Way of the National Capital Area. But if eligible people; get the vaccine: life would return to normal. At least to some normality. Even if an individual does not want to get the vaccine, they should get it for their neighbors, their mentors, siblings, relatives, and everyone in between. There are many misconceptions; many were influenced by them some still are. Although the first amendment is essential for all individuals, we can not sacrifice others' safety for our opinions. Not getting vaccinated is not moral. Everyone makes exemptions: what is the difference between this exemption? There is various scientific evidence. Parents fear for their children's safety. Parents need to be informed. People need to know how vaccines work, also how it helps and the benefits of the COVID vaccine, and how possible fatal for the children's health may be. Our opinions will always hold value, but this is pandemic; whether someone gets the vaccine or not defines others' future. Everyone is essential, and it is crucial to get vaccinated. It only begins with one person, not social distancing, one person not getting vaccinated. The spread will continue if society does not do anything about it. I have lost my Grandma because of covid, not because she got it, not because she was not social distancing. She had permanent asthma damage to her lungs, she was hospitalized, and because so many people got COVID-19, she was forced to get the vaccine for fear of everyone's health. She was not supposed to get the vaccine; she was too weak. If she can get the vaccine, so can you.
