Free Admission Essay Sample: NYU Tisch

Dear admissions committee, 

Being put on the waitlist is for me another challenge and a great opportunity to show you my interest. Please accept this letter as an addition to my application to bring you an update about my most recent achievements.

Since I submitted my application, I received the "congratulations" at the end of the second term, which is the highest distinction that a student can receive at my school from the class council, composed of my teachers and managers. 

Also, our subject rankings for the current year were released, and I was able to find out that I am 5/32 in Economics and Social Sciences and 6/33 in History-Geography-Geopolitics-Political Science, which are my two specializations and thus the two most important subjects to my graduation. I also get the fourth place in the math option and English course out of 38 and the 2nd place in moral and civic education out of 38 as well. Unfortunately, my school did not want to publish the ranking taking into account all the students in their final year.

Finally, for my American high school diploma, which I am taking with Academica Dual Diploma Program, I validated my semester in US Government by obtaining the maximum credit possible which allows me to keep a 4.0 GPA.

From an artistic point of view, I had the opportunity to visit the Paris Conservatory and exchange with the students of the musical theater section and see their show presented in the mythical Parisian theater of the Châtelet. This allowed me to have a better understanding of the expectations of a student learning musical theater. 

While I still have a few weeks to wait, it would be an honor to be in New York this fall. After hearing many experiences, doing a lot of research, and especially after the interactions I had during my artistic review and the quality of advice given there, I feel even more excited to still be considered, and it truly makes NYU my dream school. There seems to be no better place to spend my university years than NYU Tisch.

I strongly appreciate the opportunity to have a second review based on these additional achievements and hope to hear from you soon. 

Since NYU is my first choice, if admitted, I would not hesitate to accept the offer and enroll in the Class of 2026.
