Have you ever thought that a president from 1890–to 1925 cared seriously about natural resources? Well, we have and he is Theodore Roosevelt, who is the president who has all the important things in natural resources: progress, morality, and patriotism. 

For example, in paragraph 18, it said, "In Washington time,... An iron deposit has been found in the country. " This quote implies that the United States has discovered natural resources such as water, wood, and iron ore...According to the text on p18, it said, "Such was the degree of... order to satisfy their needs." This quote means that the U.S. was discovering more and more of all the resources that we had never seen or heard of. We find that 1 of the 3 important things is progressing, so let’s move on to the next one, which is morality. According to the text, paragraph 41, it said, "So this nation as a whole... And the natural resources are exhausted. " This quote means that Roosevelt is working and speaking for the humans who shhould care about nature because it will help in the future.

According to the text PR41, it said, "This prevention of the natural water supply... is the basis of her industrial life." This quote means that Roosevelt cares for the future and future generations because natural resources will help them in the future, and it will be bad in the future if they don’t have them. Hooray, we found 2 important things in natural resources and the final one will be "Patriotism!!" According to the text pr54, it said, "Finally, let us... of national efficiency." This quote means that Roosevelt is loving natural resources without explaining the word, and he wants to use speech to explain how he loves them and what we should do to keep them. According to the text, paragraph 54, it says "The patriotic duty of... will be assured." This quote means that Roosevelt is implying that Americans should have a fondness for natural resources because they can benefit the earth and serve as a source of supply and future.
