During the Covid-19 pandemic, it is ill-advised to visit people and play sports or have parties like we used to do. There are many fun games and tricks to do with a pet to be the same person from pre-covid.  With a pet, people are less bored and or worried about their day-to-day life. Pets can also provide exercise, which is shown to improve physical and mental health. Cats and dogs can also provide companionship and reduce stress. Having a pet is important because it can help keep anyone healthy and entertained.

 Having a pet is essential because it can help people stay healthy in many ways. Pets, especially cats and dogs can help people have less anxiety and depression. For example, science has proven that having dogs or cats lay on, or beside you can help reduce stress. Pets can also keep people up and active by playing with them. Another example, dogs and puppies are always active, just take them to the park to run or just stay at home and play with them. Study shows that people with a pet are less likely to have heart problems. Lastly, people with pets have fewer heart problems, because pets can help reduce blood pressure which can reduce one's chance of a heart attack. Having a pet can benefit one's health in many ways. 

Pets can provide entertainment, especially during the pandemic. With pets, people can do fun activities and play with them. For example, pets can play fetch, just throw a ball or frisbee and have them catch it and return it. Pets can also be taught many types of tricks and perform them.  Another example, my dogs do tricks for fun, like spin, speak, roll over, and sometimes we give them treats for showing us their cool tricks. Cats and dogs are very curious animals and will follow any little thing they see if they want to find out what they are. When my dogs were puppies they loved to run around the house chasing a laser that we would point. Pets can do many fun activities to entertain people and even to entertain themselves. 

Pets are great to have no matter what, they provide entertainment and keep you healthy. They keep people up on their feet and moving because they use a lot of their attention. So, they beg to be taken on walks or play frisbee or play ball with them and that keeps everyone entertained. Pets can also reduce people’s blood pressure which helps with stress and health problems. Because of that, they can reduce people’s chance of a heart attack or stroke. The quote “a man’s best friend” is accurate, a pet is truly a man’s dearest friend.
