Some people think it helps the economy, others think it harms the economy, but in reality, immigrants have had some benefits. Some Americans have the idea that because of the 9/11, Boston Marathon attack, Los Angeles, Muslims are likely to carry out a terrorist attack on American soil. However, immigrants may turn out to be the future of our nation. When it comes to the economy immigrants tend to carry out hard work and do minimum jobs that many Americans don't, and won’t do. Do tho this they mistake that as immigrants taking ‘Americans process’, however, it's a neglected possibility. “The only way to keep the United States competitive is to create an immigration system that ‘upholds our laws, reflects our values and serves the interests of our economy’” (Curl). One motive for humans now no longer taking the roles is due to the hours, the following motive is the pay won't fulfill a criminal immigrant, and those born in America. Every other motive is it wouldn't be capable of aid for an ordinary American family. However, they'll be capable of aiding an unlawful immigrant. Immigrants are not safe in their current environment. The U.S. is not helping either, their strict border control limits the number of immigrants that can enter the country legally. Because of this, many illegal immigrants die before they even get across the border. May that be due to the dangerous terrain or of course the cartel. Overall immigration is good for America and American Culture. May it be for the economy or to help those in need. Immigration is the future of our nation. We are of course a nation of immigrants. However, many Americans are worried about safety. They are worried if too many illegal immigrants are granted citizenship then crime would go up. Many people believe in former president Trump. Trump has called immigrants, Mexican immigrants in particular, “Rapeists” and “Drug Dealers”. He believed that they would deal with criminals, willing to murder or kill anyone since they are illegal, Along with stating, “that women traveling through Central America en route to the United States were ‘raped at levels that nobody's ever seen before'”. Along with this, many drugs could be brought into the country. This could result in the country falling apart, and chaos in every major city in the U.S. Although many Americans believe former President Trump… He however is wrong. Although these are all possibilities, it just doesn’t happen at the scale Trump is stating. A simple background check can also limit the number of criminals entering the country. Fear can drive people to do unnecessary things, I believe fearing to let others in may be one of them. Along with the fact that this is coming from what most media calls “racist”. In the end, every individual has a different opinion. However, considering the different facts presented in this work you can vividly see that immigration can overall be vitally beneficial. May it be economically or from a moral standpoint. Letting immigrants in will result in the growth of our nation. Of course not everyone will agree, there will be those who fear it, everyone in history has at some point feared change. But with the correct precautions set in place, we could be looking at the birth of a new generation and a new and improved nation.
