The way of life of an Indian was far from good. These Indians were in tribes and with that these tribes were eventually put into a reservation camp, which is basically an area of land that is reserved for a tribe or tribes of Indian people. The Indians on reservations were often treated wrongly and just had an all-around bad life. In the Indian Appropriations act it states that this act created Indian reservation systems that would provide funds to make Indian tribes to form in reservations to keep the under control. So, with this act in place it basically means that the people of this world wanted the Indians to stay in reservations so that they can control every move they make. Also, just giving the Indian tribes a little bit of money so they can at least barely survive. To make things even better the land had to be big enough for at least three hundred and twenty-six people or more.

Indians on the reservations camps were not in the best living conditions either. They had little to no supplies. Like I said it was just enough for the Indians to barely survive. Living conditions often entailed that the houses they lived in were often fully crowded and not big enough. Also, a lot of Indians were living in a huge cycle of never-ending poverty. With this being said the people that put the Indians on these camps didn’t care if they survived, they just wanted to be able to control them and be able to take them from the land that they were currently from. In these reservation camps not, a lot was great. They had poverty, illnesses, and just a lot of bad people trying to kill of Indians.

Like I said the illnesses the ones that are most common on these camps are, chronic liver disease, diabetes, mellitus, unintentional injuries. These are very serious illnesses and can cause a lot of pain for these Indians and even lead to death. If the people on these camps get these diseases or illnesses, then they won’t be able to get treatment because they are too poor to afford to afford to get looked at and check out to see what they can do to fix the issue or help resolve the problem.

The only real source of income these Indians had were tourism and sometimes gambling. These were not big ways of making money like you and I could. These Indians are just poor people dying on a poor land that needs to be fixed up and given supplies. They can’t really make money also because the economy is really underdeveloped there. They don’t have a very simple or easy way of making money. The economic scene from this reservation is that these Indians will travel to distant cities just to find somewhere to have business and find banks and other types of business where they can engage in commerce.

On these reservations there is one thing that will keep these people safe. It’s the treaty of Hopewell. This act refers to the three treaties negotiated with the Cherokee, Choctaw, and Chickasaw nations which means that between these three different tribes, the people of each tribe have a peace agreement with each other so they will all be save on the different styles of reservation camps.

On the reservation camps the one thing that might be the worst thing happening is the schooling. The schooling education is not the greatest because they have little money and no help to improve the schools in any way. The way I pictured these camps was everyone liked each other and wanted to have a strong healthy relationship which I was very, very wrong. Also, in the United States of America there are roughly 2.6 million native Americans today. The way of life now is very different from what it was back then.

Back then on these reservation camps to go back to the medical side of things, people on the camp didn’t have much medical supplies, so if someone broke their arm or hurt themselves there really wouldn’t be a way to get them better or heal them in a good and safe manner. Also, to go back to the revenue side of things I thought that the Indians would be like farmers because they were always good with their hands. I was way wrong they were mainly just working in casinos and being tour guides which in my mind doesn’t really make any sense. If I can get one thing clear, it’s that the way native Americans were treated on these reservation camps was wrong and if there was something to do about it we better do it because it’s just not right.
