Between Marvel and DC Comics in overall enjoyability, I believe that Marvel far surpasses DC Comics in various ways. In my judgment the criteria where Marvel excel is first Attraction, second characters, and lastly plot.

In terms of Attraction between the two brands, Marvel far exceeds DC when it comes to bringing in more watchers. My reasoning being that despite DC Comics releases more movies a year most of their titles go under the radar and not as much noticed, in contrast to Marvel's widely known releases and word of mouth advertising which DC lacks. From my experience, the people around are always asking me if I have seen the latest Marvel movie compared to DC. I hear almost none, it pales in comparison. Also, all of Marvel's cinematics are on a streaming service Disney plus+ where most DC films would need to be watched at the theater where most consumers don't have the time to go to the cinema or on websites that are not widely used or known.

DC characters in comparison to Marvel characters in my view Marvel characters are a little bit better. The Marvel Universe has far more likable and appealing characters than DC where DC has a few very well-written characters that far surpass any marvel character. There are only like 5 of them compared to Marvel's plethora of solid cool characters anyone could enjoy seeing on the big screen or possibly get their own television show. An example I can give is from multiple Marvel movies where the character Jimmy woo a detective was amassing loads of popularity in the community as a result that Marvel said a future project could be in making a television show solely for the character Jimmy Woo.

And lastly, when it comes to it I tend to believe that Marvel has more of a developed plot than DC. That being said, as I see it DC has no interesting plots that I would pay money to see. What I see them do a lot is just put a hero against a villain and call it a day. For example Batman vs Superman's long-awaited fight fans have been longing to see but totally failed to deliver and instead gave us an over 3-hour movie with a lackluster plot consisting of mostly dialogue and I for one wanted to see more action. All things considered, Marvel has a storyline and continuation of big movies including character watchers want to see where DC has a random assortment of movies releasing a year with no continuity between them.

In brief, I think that the DC does fall short of the MCU but not completely. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has more strong suits put against the DC Cinematic Universe when it comes to the plot which DC can improve on, attraction and characters. But all in all both the MCU and DC Comics are very enjoyable to watch in their own way.
