My Ambition in Life Essay Example

I’ve always been an ambitious person. 

Ever since I was a little kid, I wanted to do great things in life. What exactly are those things? Honestly, I’m not sure yet, but I’ll definitely figure it out. My father passed away when I was four years old but regardless of my less-than-ideal situation, I always attempt to succeed amongst my peers. 

My first and foremost passion in life is art. I love to draw, write, and perform. I’ve been drawing since I was in diapers.

I can truly express myself when performing or drawing on a sheet of paper.

Something that also brings me joy in life, is languages.

You see, my mother is bilingual, she speaks both English and Spanish. So I've heard the language for most of my life.

Despite not being fluent yet, there’s something amazing about being able to speak to a person in their native language that excites me. 

And so far, I’ve begun to study in my free time, Spanish, Italian, Korean, and Japanese. Currently, I would say my Spanish is the best, followed by my Korean.

Recently, due to me discovering it, I’ve also gotten interested in volleyball. I enjoy playing very much and it feels so amazing when you win. The rush of air as you hit the ball and the sting of my forearms as I bump the ball.

I would really enjoy continuing my language learning as well as expressing myself through my art as I continue into high school. These activities truly bring me joy and participating in them as I grow and advance myself would be amazing.
