With goals set in place and the ability to persevere through life’s tough obstacles, achieving my dreams will not be easy but I’m more than ready for the challenge. Oftentimes in society people set their expectations inadequately when it comes to what they want in life. Instead, they should be reaching for the stars and attempting to push themselves to the fullest extent. I have aspirations to visit every country in the world, become a pro tennis player, and become a millionaire by thirty. To subsequently have the ability to purchase a beachside villa in either Spain, Italy, or Croatia. The bucket list items I have presented are not just a list of goals I want to accomplish in life but a testament to what can be attained in life through hard work, dedication, and passion.

One of my lifelong dreams has always been to become financially successful, and by becoming a millionaire, I believe that status will have been attained. Becoming a millionaire is a long process requiring changes of both mindset and lifestyle. To make it happen, “you’ll virtually need to create a mission statement.”(Rose) If you want to be successful you have to be willing to take advice from others and accept their criticisms and praises. It would be foolish to not adhere to their advice. "It all starts with focus,” according to Scott Wellens, the founder of the Fortress Planning Group and host of the Best in Wealth podcast. “Every day you need to be of the right mindset to become a millionaire in your 30's.”(Wellens) To refute this information would be inconsiderate since it’s coming from a successful multi-millionaire. If I do choose the path of becoming a millionaire I will need to stay focused and not be sidetracked by other obstacles.

In addition to becoming a millionaire, I strive to become a professional tennis player and work towards being the best player on the planet. In essence, “to become a professional you need to be in it for the long haul.” (Mattspoint) Regardless of who you are or what field your expertise is in, “professionalism” is a valuable asset to attain. I know that in order for me to have a chance at becoming a professional tennis player I need to be disciplined and separate myself from the rest whether that be through hard work, talent, or appearance. According to Adrian Butorac, “the average age of a player in the top one hundred is twenty-eight years old on the men’s side, and twenty-six years old on the women’s side.”(Butorac) The odds of becoming a professional tennis player are less than one percent. Therefore if I do manage to overcome adversity, and become a professional tennis player I will most likely be earning anywhere from one hundred thousand dollars to upwards of one million dollars depending on my success.

The prospect of traveling the world is in honor in itself but to visit every country in the world is something only a handful of people have achieved. According to Gunnar Garfors, “the journey is hard and if you truly decide to take it head-on you have to be willing to take all the precautions necessary in order to be successful.”(Garfors) This quote is substantial because it shows that traveling the world is not all sunshine and rainbows, and with it comes great responsibility to react on the fly. A significant piece of advice to keep in mind is to budget even when you’re not traveling. “If you’re serious about reaching your goal you have to be prepared to make sacrifices such as saving money whenever you can.”(Zietsman) This mentality is in correlation with becoming a millionaire in the sense that without sacrifice you’ll not get too far. Furthermore, the mentality and approach I bring to my everyday life are vital to my success and if I have any intentions of becoming successful these actions cannot be simply looked over.

Whatever you strive for in life it is important to understand that you are in control of your own life, and nobody can deter you from what you strive to achieve. What is most important is to become the best version of yourself and to obtain whatever it is you are truly seeking. No matter what you aim to fulfill in life it is crucial to understand that the time we were given in this life is limited, and every minute should be cherished. The ability to figure out what makes you auspicious is what separates a strong mind from a weak mind. However you may choose to approach life, and its amenities it must be acknowledged that it will not be easy, with it will come hardships and moments where you want to quit but in the end, it shall lead to ultimate prosperity. In conclusion, don’t let the darkness shine over the light because in life we face many setbacks and obstacles, and it is vital to understand that if we push through those moments it can only get us closer to the “light” and finally leave us at ease with what we have accomplished in our lives.
