Narrative Essay on PC Building

I always wanted to build a PC for games, learning code, and being able to learn more about the world. I always liked playing games like shooters, role playing, Vr games. Able to trash talk people I always was fun (not needed). Thinking about how bad games are and saying I can do better and learning how to code. Building this pc gives me the opportunity to learn a coding languages and able to build a carrier from it. Learning code able to bring some type of change in the world of video games makes me happy. Able to communicate with anyone and learn anything. Building a PC was the most stressful, most enjoyable, most interesting thing I have done. I almost broke it multiple times even before turning it on for the first time, it was worth it. PC building was the best thing I could have done during the pandemic and my teenage years. 

I have been playing games for at least 7 years now, starting from the Nintendo ds playing Super Mario. Then, Nintendo Wii brought a whole new change to my life and brought me new games like different Mario games and Call of Duty. Mario cart was the first game I was obsessed with. The first game where I was dominated in. I believe that COD made me mature in a way that taught me about violence and other materiel. All sudden the Xbox 360 just came out and I managed to get one, and I was introduced to a new world of video games. Playing Black ops with friends was something I had never done before, and I was so happy. Few years later the Xbox one came out I also got but no change I acted the same as the 360 just got new games but no big change in my life. But getting a PC was something I always wanted to be able to play basically everything. When I got the opportunity to make it, I immediately took it and made it and I don’t regret it. 

Finding the parts for the PC was not that difficult to do but did take time to do. I had to do a lot of research for it to work. Finding the right parts was not difficult but did take time. All of this happened before the chip shortage, so I do consider me building for a resalable price lucky. It's time, building it I was so excited but also very nervous because I had never done anything like this before. I think I multypol steps wrong when building like making it on the floor and on the bed. If any carpet got on the motherboard or the power supply, I could shorted out my PC. But by some miracle or dumb luck the PC turned on and did not break the first few seconds it turned on. When I found out I did not break my PC I swear I was the happiest person in my whole house. With that I took a huge risk with it and I don’t regret my decision on make it. Everything I love about gaming and creating programs is there for me now. 

Ever since playing my first video games I always noted out its flaws. Playing with my friends and encountering out a bug and causing me to be furious. Me telling myself that I can do better. I always wanted to learn how to code but I never got the opportunity to learn properly. But with this I can finally start leaning to code and become a gave dev. Since building my PC I have started to Learn Python,C++,Java. Learning this programming languages has brought me somewhat closer to my goal. Building my PC is helping me accomplish my coding goals and getting me closer to my dream. 

In conclusion, my pc has brought me such unbelievable opportunities. Either it's me yelling at the game or teammates on how bad they are. Or me learning a valuable skill able to change something. Or me saying how video games changed my life. This PC has changed me, it has given opportunities.
