Ever want to learn about the features of places across Canada? I will talk about Ontario, Alberta, and Prince Edward Island. This will be helpful if you intend on visiting one of these places in Canada. I’ll be talking about the physical features these places offer along with the cultural features, and specific tourist attractions that’ll make you visit one day.

First off, we have Ontario. Ontario is located in the CENTRAL part of Canada. All of Canada is lucky enough to have all 4 seasons. Each season has its own uniqueness no matter what season it is when you travel here. Temperature can go as low as -5° to 30°. Physical features Ontario has include hills, valleys, the canadian shield, our famous Niagara Falls, lakes and more! The cultural features include the CN tower, Ontario Place, Parliament Hill, etc. Exciting places made for you to visit! These physical features, cultural features and tourist spots you can visit make an excellent reason to visit Ontario. Those of you who are nature people and love being out there, exploring and hiking, the valleys and hills that can be found here will be enjoyable for you along with a beautiful view and experience. Our Niagara falls are also another good reason why you should visit Ontario because the falls are truly an amazing view with a nice breeze from the water and is a must to cross off everyone's bucket list! Ontario’s cultural features include winter activities. Ontario offers many winter activities that can be done during the winter. Activities such as winter wind skiing, ice skating, snow tubing, etc. Even for those who don't enjoy the winter season as much, experiencing the fun and joy these activities will bring you might change your perspective and make you want more. “I love snow tubing, it was a new experience for me and I will make sure to come back again.” said Andrew Dean, a local who just finished snow tubing in Barrie. A tourist place that is highly recommended and is visited by everyone who tours Ontario is the famous CN Tower. The CN tower has many things built in that will give you a full ride of what it's like being in one of the world's tallest towers. For those of you afraid of heights, this is your chance to face that fear. Although if you choose not to, there are still things in the tower that might suit your liking. Ontario is a place of diversity and full of activities for those who love multiculturalism and exploring the activities in the province.

Secondly, is Alberta. Alberta is located in the WESTERN part of Canada. Alberta also has tons to bring to the table. Some examples of physical features are the massive mountains that can be found there, the Banff National Park which has lakes, rocky mountains etc. Alberta also has rolling hills and more. Some cultural features include the farming community. Alberta is known to be big on farming. There are many business areas located around Alberta, and the vast amount of tourist attractions that can be visited. For example there is the Banff National Park, the Calgary Tower, Calgary Stampede and more. What is good about visiting Alberta is that you can essentially take advantage of the mountains there for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. These activities can be fun for those who enjoy skiing or snowboarding or even the ones who want to try it out for the first time. All these activities are available at the Banff National Park where you have unlimited possibilities. “ I was able to learn how to ski down the bunny hills here at Banff!” said Morgan Price, a local at the park. Alberta also offers many beautiful lakes that can be visited just to enjoy the scenery they provide. Onto the cultural features. I previously mentioned that Alberta has a farming community. The farms that run in Alberta are canola, wheat, dry peas, cattle etc. Alberta is known for farming because the province has an abundance of sunshine and excellent soil that make it a prime place to grow crops. That means produce in Alberta is usually fresh and better. The business industry in Alberta is big due to their oil and gas sector, those are their biggest businesses. Alberta is made for those who really enjoy the outdoors and exploring what is around them.

Finally, is Prince Edward Island. Prince Edward Island is located in the EAST part of Canada. PEI is known for their physical features like relatively flat land, their red soil, big cliffs, etc. Flat lands can be found in PEI and are beneficial. They are beneficial for farming because it is more suitable for the crops and they are deep with fertile soil that essentially helps with farming crops. On top of that PEI has red soil that develops in warm or moist climates. This is helpful because PEI tends to be warmer because of the warm waters found in the Gulf of St Lawrence. The big cliffs found in PEI can be explored as they are massive and you could even hike to the top of them for an aerial view of your surroundings that ends up to be a beautiful view. Some cultural features of PEI are the golfing community, fishing, music, etc. PEI is most famous for their golfing. PEI is considered the best place to golf in Canada. There is also a big fishing community in PEI because of the amount of water that surrounds the province. That makes it easier for fishers to fish in open bodies of water and catch goods to bring home. “Fishing here is heaven” said Joshua Jones, a local fisherman. This means the province is more of a seafood province since fishing is so popular. Music tends to be known in PEI because the music is usually tightly knitted. There is also a big Acadian culture there along with Scottish, and Irish. They are passionate about their own culture and music.

To conclude, Ontario, Alberta, and PEI are only 3 of the 13 provinces and territories in Canada. These 3 provinces each have their own unique physical and cultural features to be explored!
