Ever since I started listening to Kpop, my world flipped. I do not recall what exactly happened, but all I know is that the group TXT has claimed a spot in my heart. As a passionate music lover, listening to TXT was already a moment of bliss, but watching their videos would be best described as an out-of-this-world experience.

I witnessed the group's debut back in March of 2019 and was amazed by them from the start. TXT (Tomorrow by Together) is a five-member boy group from Seoul, South Korea. Tomorrow by Together actually stands for five boys that came together under one dream to make a better tomorrow. In other words,  despite coming from different backgrounds, all members all share the same dream of being an idol. The members are Yeonjun, Soobin, HueningKai, Taehyun, and Beomgyu. Their concept as a group is being relatable with adolescence by sharing their experiences of growing up. The entertainment label they are in, Big Hit, is known for constantly giving them comebacks with catchy sounds and never-before-seen visuals.

I cannot decide whether it is the pretty members, the pleasing scenery, or the cool outfits they wear. Still, altogether it radiates a breath of fresh air. One of my favorite videos, Blue Hour, is a cinematic masterpiece. The video hits with a fantasy look, almost like it came out of a children's book. It opens with the boys sitting on a tree, and they are all looking in different directions. A book falls from one member's face (Soobin), and there it is known that a disco-like sound will begin. There's an image of a Ferris wheel across the field from the boys. They then dance in a foggy field of grass, transitioning to running into a carousel.  The overall colors of the video are so vibrant I consider it to be eye candy.

Not to mention, the outfits coordinated so well with the settings. One moment the boys would be riding the carousel in pastel knitted wear. The other they would be dancing in front of it with a black and white cowboy-inspired look. I admire how the stylists manage to involve many styles into one video and not make it seem awkward. The presence of the video and its visuals are very youthful and dreamy, which fits perfectly with its disco sound. In Korean, 'Blue Hour' title means ¨At 5:53 I Found You and Me In the Sky¨, which talks about being in the moment and not wanting it to end. I like that the lyrics can have a somewhat pessimistic undertone, yet the video looks so joyous.

The thing about TXT and especially their company, Big Hit, is it is impossible to predict what is next with them. They started off with hip hop, switched to R&B, to Disco, and now Rock. The best part is that every video has its own story behind it, almost as its own little chapter to the TXT universe. They are setting the bar high in the music industry due to constantly switching up their image. I remember I would love artists until they changed their look and sound; it did not feel as entertaining as before. With TXT, they can pull off anything and make it look outstanding. Perhaps it is more than just the videos, but the group itself has a magic to it.
