Recommends working with the international community to promote negotiations to achieve the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the return of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the NPT and IAEA safeguards.

Further recommends addressing Syrian non-compliance with the NPT and IAEA safeguards obligations.

Urge Iran to uphold and fully implement all obligations under the NPT-required safeguards agreement with the IAEA. We further urge Iran to provide all required information to enable the IAEA to clarify and resolve outstanding safeguards issues without further delay.

Endorses inclusive, consensus-based dialogue among all the regional states to advance a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems and creation of a political system where nuclear deterrence is not required.

Accepts that holding States accountable for failing to comply will strengthen not only confidence in the integrity of the agreements and commitments, but also in the prospects for progress towards achieving the peace and security of a world without nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction.  

Draws attention to the need for NPT States Parties to adopt principles to discourage Parties from withdrawing from the Treaty.

Encourages working with the International Atomic Energy Agency to help States which want to develop a civil nuclear energy industry to do so in ways that are safe and secure, and which minimize the risks of nuclear weapons spreading or re-emerging.

Takes note of the fact that international cooperation is essential if the NPT's rules against nuclear proliferation are to be strengthened and preserved.
