Opinion Essay Example: Homeschooling

In my opinion, homeschooling is a very good option for some children. Now, I'm not going to say that homeschooling is good for every child because I do believe that some children might learn better in a public environment with physical teachers and general learning tools, but In the same breath, I also believe that homeschool can be a great option because online schooling can help you learn at a pace that works for you and give you more time to learn and retain the information that you are given.

After all, not every child learns the same, some children need more hands-on attention when it comes to learning and sometimes I feel as if the public school learning system is more for general learning and is not catered to children who don't learn as quickly or as quote-unquote normally as others.I also feel that sometimes it might be more comfortable for a child to work in a more familiar environment because I do believe that it is easier to learn when you are comfortable and at ease in your surroundings.

Also, having a child learn at home can prevent them from exposure to negative social interactions such as bullying which can lead to mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression, which can also ruin the child's experience with school and make the learning process much more complicated than is needs to be and ultimately turn their entire high school experience into a traumatic one.

Furthermore, I am not saying that bullying is the only cause of depression and anxiety, but it may be a contributing factor.

As I stated before homeschooling might not be for every kid, but it is a great alternative for some and can be a very welcoming and fulfilling experience.

In conclusion, I think homeschooling can be a great option for some children, as it can be very effective and beneficial for both the child and the parent. So ultimately I think homeschooling is awesome!
