Everyone faces challenges and weaknesses daily. Challenges are things that you can get through although they may be difficult to do. Weaknesses are things that you give in to. My challenges include time management and communication. The ways to improve those challenges and weaknesses may vary depending on what they are. My weaknesses include unhealthy eating habits. The goal is to be better at time management, communication, and eating healthier. 

Time management is a challenge for me simply because I’m trying to manage school, work, and my personal life altogether. Sometimes it feels like I’m running out of time because I’m trying to get everything done. Time management is important because you want to be on time whether it’s showing up on time or turning in your work on time. After all, it can be a first impression.  I plan to improve my time management by being prepared and organized. Once I overcome this challenge I will be able to do more in my day.

Communication is a challenge for me because I have always been shy. It’s hard for me to express or explain myself to people. However, I want to improve my communication because it’s very important in relationships, friendships, work, etc. I plan to improve my communication by talking to someone I don’t know every day whether I’m complimenting them or just greeting them. Once I improve this challenge I will be able to network with people and will have more opportunities.

Unhealthy eating is a weakness for me because it’s easier and cheaper to go order a cheeseburger rather than a salad. I want to change my eating habits because I want to be healthy and fit. I plan to overcome this weakness by easing myself towards unhealthy foods, meal prepping, and having self-control over what I eat. It takes an average of 66 days to make a habit, so it does take time. Once I overcome this challenge I’ll have a lower risk of health issues and I’ll feel better physically.

Ultimately, challenges and weaknesses can both be overcome in due time, although some may take longer than others. This can either be a long-term or short-term issue for some people. With determination and self-control, you will be able to get through those obstacles. Everyone has some things that they may struggle or have a hard time with. It's my goal to overcome time management, communication, and eating habits within the next year.
