You might have seen people in the media owning wild animals as pets. Owning a wild animal as a pet can be very dangerous and can cause harmful diseases. This shows that wild animals can be deadly to their owners. Additionally, it is hard to take care of an animal like a Burmese python. Wild animals belong in their natural habitat. According to "Let People Own Exotic Animals", it states, "in the United States only 3.25 people are killed by captive wild animals. Meanwhile, car accidents kill 125 people per day." This might be true, but wild animals that don't belong in cages or indoors can spread millions of diseases to us humans.
