Reality TV VS Real Life TV Essay Example

With thousands of genres within television and movies, each one two types of categories, reality, and fiction but what are the qualities both categories have that different and similarities between those two categories. In this essay, I will use points of each subject, show different examples of qualities of each on the topic, and then bring it to a conclusion. 

One example is that both forms of tv, they have a few similarities for example both fictional and reality tv have either characters or actors, both are based in a certain part of the world or certain parts depending on the movie or show and both have some form of story to tell another difference between reality tv and fictional shows and movies is that reality t.v is often based on real-life or realistic events and takes place in real-time while fictional tv has unrealistic things happening and some shows jump into different timelines for example past, present time and future or with some shows and movies some having alternate timelines. Another example of differences is that fictional tv has unrealistic characters, events, or concepts that either would rarely happen or would never happen in real life for example alien invitations, giant robots, dragons, things, talking that shouldn’t have the ability to, as well as other concepts. 

Other things that happen in reality tv shows is that in a huge majority of the shows there is either a problem, situation, or dilemma the characters have to get through or fix, and often in reality tv when it comes to the problem the characters get into fights, arguments, and other negative outcomes usually due to misunderstandings or someone starting the fight, or lack of communication and with those moments in the shows, it’s often really dramatic or has a tendency to exaggerate or over-complicate topics, situations, problems, or illogical explanations for plot holes. and within some shows, they tend to go overboard with sound effects to make it interesting and within every episode of the shows, there is always a problem in every episode.

In conclusion, the differences between reality tv and fiction tv are that reality tv is based on real-life or realistic events, has either characters or actors, is often dramatic, has a problem or dilemma most of the time, and often has moments with the character or actors fighting for illogical reasons while fiction tv has unrealistic concepts, characters or events happening in the story.
