Hello, have you ever considered how much water is wasted just because of pollution and harmful chemicals in the water? Not many people do so today I am here to shine some light on the subject. I would like to thank you for your time and consideration revolving around the subject. Now, here are 3 reasons why you and I should consider the only increasing rate of water pollution and harmful chemicals in the water we use daily.

To start things off I think we have all considered the effects of pollution at one point, but do we ever actually look into it more than we need to? No, not really. But let’s think about this for a minute, if you went to the store and found a drink that looked good but it said it had harmful chemicals and waste in it, would you buy that? I know I wouldn’t but here is the problem, you’re paying for your water aren’t you? Surely you want good water to drink and use seeing as it is taking money out of your pocket, paying that water bill for unhealthy water is the same as buying a chlorine-filled bottle of water only you have no idea what’s in it. Now I’m not implying that all water you pay for is polluted, but can you guarantee that it is not? I didn’t think so, we will have access to more clean water and a healthier future. And if the waste of your hard earned money and good health isn’t enough to convince you to help stop the spread of pollution then I don’t know what will.

Next, we have money. Some people may say that the cost for running machines and businesses for cleaning the water is to expensive and time consuming, but let me ask you this, what’s more expensive, the machines, or the hospital bill you have to pay when you ingest all of these harmful chemicals? And even then people may say that there isn’t enough chemicals in the water to send people to the hospital, however with enough (even just trace amounts) you can be critically or even fatally injured, so what is more important to you? Your health and money, or just money alone. I’m sure most would agree that being out a little more money is nothing compared to a hospital visit.

Last, we have time. And I think we all know how important time is, between a job or school, or even both. Nowadays we don’t have time for filtering our own water, so wouldn’t it be easier if the water was clean and didn’t need filtered? Well I think so, if you want to save money and time then we as a society need to stop pollution at the source, us, if we were to consider our own time and money then im sure you and I both would agree that not throwing a bottle of water on the ground is nothing major.

If these reasons don’t tickle your fancy then get this, not only will it decrease our money but it can also take away jobs as a whole. For example harmful chemicals in water can bring life to plants that feed on the bacteria, but the death far outways the life, it can also kill plants by changing their growing conditions as stated here https://education.seattlepi.com/water-pollution-affect-plants-life-cycle-4815.html -

now think of it this way, say these chemicals kill off the trees in the area, then the local lumberjacks can’t cut it down to sell meaning that the lumberjack doesn’t make money. So here is the problem there, say that lumberjack purchases his items from the local walmart, and that walmart invests that money into restocking their shelves from YOUR business, if that lumberjack did not have the money to make a purchase at walmart, then walmart won’t have the money to purchase from you, do you see where I’m getting at? Even if you don’t have a job that has to do with nature, it can still turn into a chain reaction that puts you out of money or even business. But no need to worry because thankfully we have solutions, if we all pick up our trash and stop throwing it on the ground then even if it is a small difference, it is so much better than losing money, wouldn’t you agree? let's think about all of these things combined. Pollution, filtration, and our ecosystem, these things play an extreme role in all of our lives no matter where we are, and so I ask, why are we not trying harder to fix this problem when we are all aware of the effects? It’s simple because we’re all too busy being the ones who pollute our ecosystems. And for what reason? We are provided with public recycling and trash canisters, the world is the way it is now because we as humans cannot care for our environment enough to make a small difference like picking up a plastic bottle on the road, it is because of this that we see a lesser amount of sea and wildlife, so I encourage you to use what we are provided with and make this world a cleaner, and healthier place to live, and if not for your continuously decreasing health, then at least consider your loss of money.

So in conclusion, I would like to thank you again for the time and consideration provided to me. These are 3 reasons why you and I should consider the only increasing levels of pollution and harmful chemicals in the water we use daily. For your health, time, money, business, ecosystem, future, and our world itself.
