Research Paper about The Nuclear Power

Have you heard or looked over our world current tension between countries, the increasing of the diseases, and environmental disasters?  Do you think it is just a natural process or it is a human made problem? The reason for all these problems is humans, humans leaved on this earth more than a million years and the nature were more fertile and safer place than these days. Humans made different discoveries every day to make their life easy and to cover their daily demands, one of the discovery humans made which is not included in the nature during creation is the nuclear power. Nuclear power works by creating heat to make a steam and the steam rotate the turbines, which is connected to the electromagnet to produce power. Uranium was discovered by the German chemist Matin Klaproth in 1789, his discovery leads to for many inventions to our world development and disaster. Nuclear power is used form different kinds of services in our world for good and bad cause. Even though the nuclear energy used to generate electricity the side effect is much larger than the benefit, because it leads us to a highly radiation from the nuclear powers, they use it as a biological weapon and environmental disasters.

The Nuclear power have a high amount of radiation and this radiation is not controlled by any mechanism, so because of that habitat on the earth are affected by this humanmade mistake. We shouldn’t be looking only the power we get from this reactor; we should be also looking the causes they are brining to our house. We can’t see or touch the radiation which comes from nuclear plants, but we all see the effect when we get sick and loss our loved one. The radiation is a big risk on our survival for the future, we are not the same people comparing to the past generation by health, fertility and by nutrition. In a 1964 study, "Radiation and Heredity," Mueller spelled out the genetic damage of ionizing radiation on humans. Indeed, sperm counts, sperm viability and fertility rates worldwide have been dropping for decades.” (11) The more the world uses nuclear power as a source of energy, the more the world become the unsafe planet to leave. Humans or other animals and plants should be free from this kind of obstacle of natural growth, God give us all the resources to leave on earth and we should use it with safely and by not affecting the environment.  Countries who use this nuclear energy knows it how it is dangerous for the people, and they still work on the safety of the use. This opinion, ultimately endorsed by thousands of scientists worldwide, led President John F. Kennedy to sign the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty [agreement signed by the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States on August 5, 1963, prohibiting all nuclear testing except underground tests].” (3) All test and the use of the nuclear powers should be stop, we should use natural resources like hydropower, wind power and other natural resources that don’t have effect on the ecosystem. 

Some people argue that the exposing to the radiation have some impact like it has side effects. On Gale in context Author: Leslie Corrice writes “It should be noted that current research on single living cell DNA and multi-cellular laboratory animals demonstrates the biological mechanisms at work. Low level radiation exposure improves an individual cell's ability to repair damage to its DNA, much the same as physical exercise improves muscle tone. It also has a cumulative effect of improved DNA repair for the remaining lifetime of the cell.” (17) The research could be helpful for those who agree with the non-impact of radiation on the ecosystem, but the result of the excess or radiation can be seen in hospitals and the physical and mental appearance of our society. First, we should ask our self what cause our DNA and cells to be damaged before we say we found the solution, because the cause of this effect is the radiation coming from the nuclear power. 

Added to the Nuclear power radiation the use of nuclear power is not only for the good purpose countries uses as a weapon. Many countries are equipped with the nuclear power war head, which can destroy life, civilization, history and all the ecosystem with in just a friction of time. Countries who have this giant distraction weapon have the power to rule the world, and it give them the right to decide on other countries destiny who don’t have this kind of power. During WWll the America bombing the two Japanese cities are a good example for the distractions, and we should avoid this kind of disaster to be happening again in the future. There are some counties who develops the nuclear power secretly, On Gale on context Author John H. Nuckolls write “Once acquired, nuclear weapons capabilities may be used accidentally or intentionally. Although national intentions may be postulated, a terrorist group that revealed nuclear intentions would undermine its cause and endanger itself and its patron states. Nevertheless, terrorist and subnational nuclear dangers cannot safely be ignored until nuclear intentions are detected.” (12) The safety of the nuclear can’t only be seen from watching the countries who admitted they have one, but it should be seen from all the countries or privet institutions who don’t admit they have the nuclear war head. On earth every leaving thing should leave their life without fear, people should go freely and enjoy the natural gift without any obstacles. This nuclear power will kill and distract the leaving habitat, this kind of power should not be given to human being. 

Countries who have the nuclear weapon argued that it helps them to have a secure and stable countries in their reign and the world. Having the nuclear power helps the countries to ask twice before going to war or creating one. On future of working the leadership and career blog Author Keith Miller write “nuclear weapons do serve as a deterrent to a global conflict, one of the primary reasons why there hasn’t been another global war since the 1940s is because of the presence of nuclear weapons.” (6) To be heard or seen in this world is so hard for any country who don’t have the nuclear power, because the power is on those who have one. The security and the policy on earth is played only by those who have the nuclear power, which is not right and it makes the world unbalance. We should also admit that the more we develop and have this nuclear power we will just see it like other weapons we use now days, which is not right and we should protect human life and the environment. 

Our earth has given us a natural resource so we can leave and fulfill our need, but we should not pay back by destroying and make the earth to be non-livable place. We look only the good side of the nuclear power, and we make decision based on the fact the benefit we get from generating electricity and the military power we have by having the nuclear war head. People have lost their life, their leaving place, and their humanity because of nuclear. The causes by war, radiation and the contamination of the wests which come from the nuclear plants. We should ask and stand for our safety and for our children’s future. We shouldn’t be just a watcher in this world and receive what they give us, we should be part of the solution by standing and voicing our concern how the nuclear power has more disadvantages and dangerous for the ecosystem.
