Students Who Spread False Rumors on Teachers Should Be Punished

How would you feel if someone started to spread false rumors about you?. I completely agree that students who spread false rumors on teachers should be punished. Spreading false rumors is a dangerous act which can cause numerous life threatening and non-life threatening  issues for teachers. Some of them being teachers could lose their job, their reputation damaged or can fall into depression.

To begin with, fabricating false rumors can cause teachers to lose their jobs  because there will be numerous complaints from parents, students and teachers  for the teacher to be fired and the rumors will probably also reach the government completely destroying the teacher’s career so no matter where they apply for a job they will be denied. 

In addition to that their reputation will be ruined. Wherever they go teachers, parents, students, community members, etc will always  be negative towards them, putting them down whenever they can  and some people will also try to harm them. Their significant other might not want to be with them anymore because of these rumors and how they’re affecting their lives in general and if they had a child/children they will most likely be bullied at school or on the road. Family members will also want to distance themselves so they don’t get caught in the crossfire.

Furthermore, all these things will cause them to fall into depression because people will always be talking badly about them, their life outside work will probably be over, their child or children will also fall into depression from the bullying and their career will also be over and all these can push them to suicide.

In conclusion spreading false rumors can have harmful effects on the teacher’s personal life, career and reputation. So students must be careful of what they say about teachers.
