In my past experiences, taking out the trash helps with organization. This is why I believe that taking out the trash can help with organization. There are many ways that taking out the trash can help with organization. It helps with a constant routine that can help with mental health, and, surprisingly,  keeping you sane. As a full-time college student and also working a full-time job, I know what having a low-mental health is like, and all honestly, I do believe that taking out the trash can help with organization.

The cycle constantly repeats, wake up, study, go to work, come home, sleep, repeat. My house is loud, but I cannot hear anything. My alarm is pounding in my ear, but I do not wake. My phone sits on my desk, connected to a lightning cable charger, doing its job and pounding in my ear at the crack of dawn to wake me up from my long deep slumber. My trash can sits under my desk, collecting dust. There is no purpose to my trash can, just for it to collect my garbage and hoard dust. Every day and every night, I see my trash can when I go to bed and when I wake up at the crack of dawn.

Surprisingly, my trash can never moves. My trash can sits in that one spot under my desk where I spend my days and nights studying for my Biology Exams. I always get up early in the morning and take out my trash that sits in my room. Taking out the trash gives me a reason to wake up early in the morning. Not only does taking out the trash every morning give me a reason to wake up, it helps me be organized throughout my day.

I always have a set schedule throughout the day, that is the reason why I like writing; I get to write out what my day is like. Six AM, wake up, Six-O-Five AM, Take out the trash, Six-Ten AM, make my bed. My schedule is set and stone, it is always in constant motion, but taking out the trash helps me be organized. My body will not let me complete other tasks until I have taken out the trash. I do not know why my body will not let me accomplish other duties until I have taken out the trash, but I do have a theory though. I have not been diagnosed, but I do think I have OCD. I always have to complete certain tasks to move on throughout my day, I always have to re-check myself before I move on with my day, and my room is always clean for an odd reason. Taking out the trash just makes everything clean and gives me a reason to wake up. That is why I believe that taking out the trash can help with organization.
